Autumn is linked with the metal element which is characterized by the color white.
The body organs of Autumn are the Lungs and Large Intestine.
Autumn moves through a few phases as we progress towards winter, namely, Early Autumn, Mid Autumn and Late Autumn. Over the next few weeks weβll be breaking down each one and what you can do to keep your system balanced and your Qi flowing.
Focus on eating juicy foods like apples, pears, grapefruits, lemons and dates along with pungent spices like cloves, ginger, black pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon (Chai anyone???)
Consume food and drinks at room temperature or warmer, including ginger or radish tea (recipe below)
Exercise regularly
If you feel like you could benefit from an Acupuncture tune up, we'd love to see you in the clinic. Link to book in the bio.

Health means adding a level of intention to every area of your life.
Health isn't something that just happens. Because we age, it means that if we aren't intentionally building ourselves back up, it's only a matter of time before we start to feel bad.
There are also many different ways to gain your health. Make sure you are choosing what is best for YOU and not leaving precious choices in someone elses hands.
You know yourself best!!
Everyone seems to fear the needle. Itβs one of the biggest barriers I hear from people on why they havenβt tried Acupuncture.
All kidding aside, itβs not the needles that hurt. Itβs the imbalance in your body that hurts.
Pick your pain.
We're a partner you can trust. Pinky promise.
Appreciate the small and beautiful things. That's where the magic lives.
Elli has been a passionate bodyworker for over seven years. She attended the Healing Arts Institute and left with a huge passion for anatomy and bodywork modalities and teaches both new massage therapists and hot stone classes.
Her style of massage is unique to every person and takes on both an intuitive and integrative approach that helps clients reach their goals.
Elli intends to create an environment that is a physically and mentally healing space.
While on her table you can expect to explore a wide range of massage styles that aid in facilitating a life with less pain, including new ways on how to take care of yourself while not on her table.
Some of her passions include pain-relieving massages that increase mobility as well as calming the nervous system.
She loves to go the extra mile with clients and provides services such as hot stone, bamboo massage, aromatherapy, heat packs, and more.
Her favorite, though, is working with mothers pre and post-birth.
While not practicing massage you can find her hanging out in nature with her dogs, doing yoga, and bringing her creative vision to life through all forms of art.

Thereβs beauty in the right perspective and how it improves well-being.
Have you ever heard the concept that thoughts dictate our feelings?
Our perspective can really make or break our well-being.
Sometimes we get stuck in patterns that weβd love to break but just donβt know how.
Thatβs one way Acupuncture is so helpful. Itβs all about getting you back to a flow state.
Curious how Acupuncture could improve your wellbeing?

Finding it hard to drum up the motivation to exercise? Getting started can be tough when youβre body isnβt used to regular movement.
A therapeutic massage could be just the thing to get you going. Massages are so much more than just a relaxation tool. They can help you
limber up before you step foot on the street or treadmill and give you that zing of motivation only feeling good in your body can.
Theyβre also an amazing stress relieverβ¦..is that something you could use this season??
