Over one month, the Short North Civic Association (SNCA) received more than 70 responses from community members. Responses have included both issues and benefits community members are receiving from the scooters. Safety, mobility, and accessibility were frequent topics. Community members are looking for reasonable regulation and dedicated spaces for scooter use and parking.

If you are experiencing an issue, there are several actions you can take:

☞ CONTACT the scooter companies
--->Spin: call 1-888-262-5189
--->Bird: submit a form
--->Lime: submit a form

☞ REPORT using 311 — these are helpful for establishing chronic issues such as obstructive parking

☞ ASK the Short North Ambassadors to move scooters along the High St corridor by calling: 614-636-5100

You will have the opportunity to share your thoughts on the Bike Plus planning process, the Vision Network, the Near Term Connections map, and recommended policies and programs. Each event is drop-in style and will feature the same content. Hear from city leadership at the top of every hour. We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your feedback!

Please help spread the word about the Open Houses to your friends, family and neighbors! Feedback gathered during the Open Houses will be incorporated into the final draft, which will be presented to City Council this fall.

Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback through surveys, web maps, pop-up events, open houses and focus groups over the past year. Your input, along with data analysis and research into best practices, has influenced the recommendations for building out a bikeway network.

Also, thank you to everyone who shared feedback on the Draft Vision Network interactive map. We received over 3,400 comments!

89% of respondents indicated support for projects.
95% of respondents indicated support for separated bikeway projects.

Hello! The Short North Tour of Homes & Gardens Committee is looking for ONE more stop to round out this year's tour roster. Have you ever wondered about featuring your home and/or outdoor garden/yard on the tour or wanted more information on what goes into the weekend? The Committee would love to talk to you! If interested, please send an email to [email protected] to learn more. Please share with friends and neighbors to get the word out about this exciting opportunity! Proceeds from the tour support the efforts of the Short North Civic Association and fund neighborhood programming such as the Annual Yard Sale, Screen on the Green, Goodale Park Music Series, neighborhood beautification efforts and more!

The Short North Civic Association is collecting feedback on issues with scooters in the community (like riding on or blocking sidewalks) – results will be shared with the City in hopes to mitigate these issues.
