Gentry completed a first floor remodel for us, including entirely new kitchen with removal of a wall. The project was very much completed to our satisfaction. There were certainly a few hiccups along the way, but they managed these as best as they could, and stood by their work. John was extremely responsive and accessible. NEW BASEMENT REMODEL - Bathroom, workout, man cave, game room, wet bar...all in one space! For this project, we incorporated some unique design/style ideas to make this 1,000 sq. ft. unfinished basement fun and functional...

- Bathroom with 48" tile shower.
- Painted ceilings flat black. A counter-intuitive approach to low ceilings, when combined with light walls and floors, provides a cozy industrial vibe.
- Wet bar area. Replaced the utility sink with a larger wet bar sink for functionality.
- Mirrored bypass doors in workout room hide huge storage shelving area and add depth to the room.
- Custom railing with horizontal rebar rails.
- Pallet board back wall adds a warm rustic touch.
- Electric fireplace adds warmth and hides unsightly mechanicals.
- Open design. No interior walls except for bathroom and mechanical area behind stairs.

KITCHEN DESIGN IDEAS:
Some of these photos were posted previously but we wanted to point out a couple of the design elements of this kitchen remodel that make it "pop"...

1 - Client opted for a glass tile backsplash which adds depth, reflects light, and results in an exceptionally clean and bright surface when combined with the white cabinets and quartz. This works great for smaller kitchen areas.

2 - We added cabinet faces to the back of the base cabinet peninsula, along with a bookcase on the end. This creates a visual connection with the cabinetry in the rest of the kitchen and adjacent living spaces.
