Did you know our shop is turning 70 this year? 🎉 Each month we’ve been featuring a little bit of wine history in honor of the legacy Roger created here. Celebrating in March with a legendary wine producer: Napa Valley’s Chateau Montelena. 

 You may have heard of the Judgment of Paris of 1976, where Napa stunned the world of wine. Previously ignored, the now famed American wine region came out ahead with both red and a white, the Chateau Montelena Chardonnay. 

 If you haven’t, I recommend watching the movie Bottle Shock, where Chris Pine plays Bo Barrett, Bo was a friend of Roger Gentile and visited the store when he was in town in 1983. So, buy some wine. Drink a little history. Cheers 🍷
