Meet the GPC Designer: say hi to Kayla!
We asked our design team to share some of their favorite things about design, and this is what Kayla had to say...
"What I love most about design is the way it can make you feel! As designers, we not only have the ability to create something that looks good, but we can create a feeling, an emotion, an atmosphere with shapes colors, and moods."

Happy birthday to our fearless leader, Taylor! 💛🥳✨
Taylor's vision, dedication, and drive are unmatched—she’s the kind of leader who works until the job is done right. She's guided GP Creative with grace, and made it such a special place to work.
From all of us at GP, we’re so grateful for everything you do.
Like to wish Taylor a happy birthday!
If your nonprofit ONLY has a logo, here's what you need instead...
You need a cohesive branded experience across your entire organization.
In order for people to donate and support your cause, they need to TRUST you, and that trust is built and earned through consistency.
Simply placing your logo in the top left corner of your website or Google doc isn’t enough to build that recognition or trust.
You need clear guidelines and strategy that are applied throughout your organization. This shows potential donors that you’re professional and that they can/should trust you with their hard earned money.
If you need help creating a brand that truly connects with your supporters, DM us to get started!
Stop using stock photos if you want to truly connect with your audience! 🚫
Stock photos might seem like a quick fix, but they often fall short when it comes to building a genuine connection with your audience.
Instead, you should share:
✨ Behind-the-Scenes – Show your team in action, working on projects, or preparing for events. Let your audience see the real work that goes into your mission.
🎥 Day-in-the-Life – Offer glimpses into what a typical day looks like for your team. It’s an opportunity to humanize your organization and build a deeper connection.
🌟 Real Impact Stories – Highlight genuine stories and testimonials from those you've helped or worked with. Authentic success stories resonate more than polished stock photos ever could.
Want to create visuals that truly resonate? Let’s chat about how we can help you stand out and connect with your audience on a deeper level.

Meet our Design Team Lead, Rachel!
We asked our design team to share some of their favorite things about design, and this is what Rachel had to say...
"My favorite aspect of design is visual problem solving! There is nothing more satisfying than taking a google doc full of text and a couple stray inspiration elements, and turning it into a beautiful and effective piece. I also love collaborating with creatives from other skillsets.
Any time I get to illustrate by hand is a treat, particularly for motion graphics or print pieces. I also love layout and opportunities to try new techniques and push the envelope in design."

This is your permission to GIVE UP…
the DIY mindest!
For all the nonprofit leaders out there, whether you’re just embarking on this journey or you’ve been navigating these waters for years, let’s face it, the DIY path is a challenging one. 🫠
It’s time for you to move beyond the constraints of DIY that keep you from excelling in your true mission.
If your calling is to support the underprivileged, dedicate more time to community outreach instead of figuring out flyer designs. If you’re passionate about advocating for health and wellness, spend your time crafting meaningful programs, not getting bogged down by branding basics.
Plus, you shouldn’t have to muddle your way through Canva templates to just end up with a logo that isn’t going to represent you or your target audience well.
If any of this resonates with you, it’s probably the right moment to consider stepping away from the DIY approach and look to professionals who can develop not just a visually appealing, but a strategically empowered brand that resonates with your ideal supporters and enables you to focus on what matters most—your mission.

Introducing a new series called: Meet the GPC Designer!
We had each of our designers make their own personal mood board to reflect who they are!
Today we're spotlighting our girl Miriam!
If you come to our office, she's the one probably drinking a matcha 🍵
When asked what she loves most about design, she said:
"The unlimited inspiration! There are always new ways to create and so many ways we can learn and collaborate with others."

WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN MAKING YOUR WEBSITE ABOUT PAGE ⚠️
You don't need to share your entire life story. Readers don't need to hear about your favorite ice cream flavor or know every detail about your Disney vacation.
Our biggest tip: keep your about page copy relevant to your organization!
Here's what you SHOULD be including on your about page to help move the needle for your organization:
👉🏻 Who you are and why you can help the user
👉🏻 How you relate to the user
👉🏻 Your mission statement & values
👉🏻 Testimonials & social proof

One of the biggest mistakes we see when auditing nonprofit websites is this:
Not having a clear statement about who you are and who you serve at the top of the site.
We get it, nonprofits speak to a lot of different audiences.
There’s the community impacted by the work you do.
There’s the volunteers or people who work WITH the nonprofit.
Then of course, there are the donors.
All distinct audiences who have different needs.
But you NEED simplicity and clarity throughout your website in order for your message to come across.
Your organization probably does A LOT of different things, making it hard to narrow down and be specific about your goals. However, if you don’t explain right away what you are there to do, your site visitors won’t stay long enough to SEE all of the good, important work you’re doing. It’ll just all feel like noise.
People more often than not, are skimming websites, looking for the information that will be valuable to THEM. So help the user know what you do and who you serve in a clear, concise way.

The Dream Team 🙌🏼
Our team snuck away to Hocking Hills for two amazing days of discussion, collaboration, and connecting with one another.
At GP, we believe that the world will be changed when people are more deeply connected with one another, and this retreat is one very practical way we live that out as an organization.
This time to get away and really dial in to our team is so vital, and we're so excited to see what this next season brings!
Anddddd that's a wrap!
Thankful for our time with .tv & excited to put together these incredible videos for this church community!
