It's no secret that the ocean is massive--it covers about 71% of the Earth's surface. And scientists have found that it absorbs a majority of the heat we produce, impacting its delicate ecosystem. So while we might live far away from the beach, our everyday actions can still have a lasting impact on this natural resource.

With summer upon us, it's important to stay hydrated through the long, warm days. But did you know that it can take up to 450 years for plastic water bottles to break down in our landfills? That's a long time!
If it's accessible to do so, consider carrying a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated and keep plastic out of our landfills.
