Pearl the four-month-old mini Australian Shepherd recently completed her basic obedience training program and is now back home with her family practicing her skills in everyday life.

Bodhi the German Shorthaired Pointer is enjoying his extra outings during his stay with us!

We are very proud of Teddy, the Maltese mix. He is a rescue who has made great progress with his socialization skills and overall self-confidence. Teddy's family is very committed to him succeeding.

Students from our school for dog trainers had an opportunity to work with some Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies. The puppies provided an opportunity for the students to learn more about proper handling and socialization to get puppies off to a good start.

Simon is a rescue mix who just finished a training program with us. He has shown great Improvement on containing his excitement when around other dogs. We are looking forward to seeing Simon continue to progress after returning home.

Meet Ally! She is an enthusiastic six-month-old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix who recently completed her residency program. She is now home with her family living her best life!

Jaxson the enthusiastic one-year-old mini Labradoodle has done a great job learning all the basic commands and manners around people and dogs! He is finishing up his residency program and is ready to apply all of his new skills at home with his family.

Barski the enthusiastic one-year-old mix is doing a great job learning how to have good manners and restraint!

Shadow the seven-month-old German Shepherd graduated our Puppy Preschool program, and is now staying with us to learn all of her on-leash obedience skills and manners.

National K-9 is pleased to welcome our September school for dog trainers' class starting today. This group will be able to interact with the litter of Pembroke Welsh Corgis. These three puppies will be very helpful in teaching individuals about the importance of puppy development and socialization.

Morning agility practice is a great way to start off a Sunday. We have agility classes being offered this fall and into the winter. We also offer opportunities for class participants to schedule individual practice time outside of class. Contact us for more details and help keep your dog busy and active as we move towards the colder months.

Bruce, the Bernese Mountain Dog is currently staying with us to assist his owners in accomplishing their training goals. He is enjoying learning new skills and is very enthusiastic!

Cincy, the Boykin Spaniel, completed puppy preschool and an on-leash program. Cincy is now back to finish up off-leash training and is doing a great job.

Moose, the 5 month old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, is off to a great start with his training program. Moose comes from a household with many children and loves getting out and being social with new people.

Rowdy is enjoying the sunshine while doing a great job practicing his off-leash skills!

Ellie the Irish Setter has recently completed her on leash upgrade with us and is now living her best life with her family.

Winnie the two-year-old Airedale Terrier is enjoying the sunshine this morning while practicing her skills and manners!

Moss the four-month-old German Shepherd mix is an eager learner. He just started his residency program to learn obedience and good manners.

Rowdy, the eleven-month-old Dogue de Bordeaux graduated Puppy Preschool, completed all of his on-leash training, and is now back with us to advance his skills to learn off leash and the ‘place’ command.
