A special note from Molly Ranz Calhoun, President and CEO of The Ohio State University Alumni Association:
Three weeks after crossing the finish line on the 15th anniversary of Pelotonia, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because of the incredible resources available at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center, it was caught early through a routine mammogram.
I am so grateful for the outstanding health care professionals I’ve met at the Spielman Center. I am seeing firsthand why patients from all over come to Ohio State to get the most advanced, compassionate care. With confidence, I can say I am in good hands!
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, consider this a friendly reminder to prioritize your health. Take the time for those routine checkups and use the resources we have available to us. Wellness exams are important to being the best you can be for all those special people in your lives.
