Associate Professor Dr. Macarius Donneyong chaired the annual American College of Epidemiology (ACE) conference at The Ohio State University this week!
This year's theme, "Integrating Epidemiology and Artificial Intelligence to Advance Public Health," brought epidemiologists, medical professionals, public health experts and students of all levels together.

As the program has grown, the organization has adapted to new forms of educator training, starting up the Generation Rx Ambassadors Training Program to meet the demand for high-quality, standardized, research-based training for Generation Rx facilitators.

The College of Pharmacy turned out for Pelotonia, with riders and volunteers from the PhD programs, faculty, staff, students and the dean herself!
Faculty, staff and students from across the college made waves at this year's American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy - AACP meeting in Boston July 20-23! π
In all, the college had 13 posters and seven presentations, including six trainee contributions. This representation is even more impressive given that the overall acceptance rate for podium presentations at the meeting was 38% this year.

Associate Professor Yu-Jung "Jenny" Wei's recent study on the concomitant use off CYP2D6-metabolized opioids with antidepressants was published this week in Annals of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Wei's area of research expertise is in geriatric pharmacoepidemiology, specifically, drug safety and effectiveness and quality of medication prescribing in older adults.
