Amber Sykes, Nurse Practitioner

Amber is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 2003, and began her nursing career in the critical care arena at Duke University Hospital. Amber specialized in Neuro-Critical Care and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2010.

Amber will be offering hormone and weight loss therapy Soteria Spa on Fridays. I have been working with Amber since December of this year and I absolutely feel the best I have ever felt. This natural, bio identical approach to hormones , thyroid issues and weight management is not as costly as some practitioners. And she truely cares and wants you to feel your best. We are so blessed to have Amber join the Soteria family!

Hi! My name is Alexander Torres, I am originally from Colombia and I have called Charlotte home for over 20 years. During 2018 I started my journey into the healing arts graduating from the NC School of Advanced Bodywork. I have since expanded my skills by becoming a Yoga teacher in Brazil, a CranioSacral therapy practitioner, and more recently Equine bodywork - yes they need muscular relief too! I hold a BA in Business Management and I also practice laying of hands, Direction of Energy and Reiki. Today, working with clients on the table is my meditation. I believe we are social beings by nature, and touch is a key component of our overall wellbeing - table time is everything!
