Kris VanGilder: Remembering the ISP Founder - Outside Groove Kris VanGilder, former owner of ISP Seats, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 5. Many will remember him for his fervent passion for safety.

It is with heavy hearts that we make this post. We found out yesterday that Kris Vangilder passed away. Kris was the original visionary for ISP Seats with a heart for keeping racers safe. He made sure his customers had the best seat he could design and was always looking for ways to do it better. We are honored to be able to continue the vision Kris had when he founded ISP. His life touched so many and he impacted wven more than he met personally. So many people came to the shop over the years to visit with Kris and swap crazy stories. Please keeps Kris' family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
RIP Kris, you will be missed by so many!💔

Tyler Millwood Victorious Once Again in Dixie Special

CARTERSVILLE, GA (June 28, 2021) - Tyler Millwood scored his third victory of the season this past Saturday night at Dixie Speedway, worth $2,000. (PraterPhoto.com)

TMR made the short trek over the weekend to their home tracks Dixie and Rome Speedway’s for their Independence Day Celebration doubleheader.

Mother Nature showed her hand early in the evening on Saturday at the conclusion of hot laps. Luckily, track officials were able to save the track and get it worked in to continue with the rest of the program. On what was a blistering fast race track, Tyler was able to drive his Millwood Plumbing sponsored #31 to Victory Lane for the third time this year against a small but high quality field of 13 Super Late Models.

As Tyler was looking to go back to back, Mother Nature returned the following afternoon at Rome Speedway. Sunday’s event was unfortunately rained out and postponed to later in the year.
