StuMo’s summer leadership and discipleship program, Kaleo, is officially in full swing! We look forward to Kaleo all year long because God continues to use it to change the trajectory of students’ lives year after year. This summer we have 5 different projects happening with nearly 1,000 students attending. We are so excited to see how God uses Kaleo in their lives!
Last week our stateside staff attended our annual StuMo Staff Conference. We look forward to this time each year when our staff from 30+ campuses around the country can gather together in the same location. We loved being together for a time of reflection, celebration, development, and encouragement. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our StuMo Staff!
New Campus Spotlight!
Mississippi State StuMo is in full swing with our first full year on campus! We are loving our time on campus so far, as the Lord has provided immense amounts of opportunities and new friendships with students.
Since stepping foot on campus in the fall, staff have focused most of their time on building relationships with students in key affinity groups on campus, recruiting students from these groups to spend their summer with StuMo at Kaleo, and sharing the truth about Jesus with as many students as possible.
We are so grateful for the way God has provided this year and we are excited about what He will continue to do in the coming years on campus at Mississippi State.
As we head back to campus to start the spring semester we can’t stop thinking about the memories made and all that we learned at SMC 2024. Already counting down the days to SMC 2025 — we’ll see you there!
Drew started following Christ during his junior year at the University of Oklahoma after a pledge brother named Beau started processing the gospel with him. That year, Drew went to Kaleo with a handful of his fraternity brothers. While at Kaleo, he began to grow in his new relationship with God and build spiritual disciplines that would begin to transform his life. Drew also began to catch a vision for laboring in his fraternity and sharing the gospel with his fraternity brothers.
Since graduating, this vision hasn’t faded. His desire to see people around him come to know Jesus spread into his post-graduate relationships at his corporate job in Dallas, TX. Drew recently started an investigative Bible study with 20-30 coworkers on the floor of his office building. Since starting this study, Drew has been able to share and process the gospel with many of them. By God’s grace, Drew is seeing the spiritual disciplines he built in college impact business leaders in the city of Dallas.

As a student, Jeff came to faith at the end of his freshman year at K-State and began to grow rapidly. He said, “I thought I had a relationship with Christ, but when I read the Scriptures, I found out there was so much more to following Jesus.”
Jeff spent 4 summers at StuMo’s summer training program, Kaleo, and learned how to lead other spiritually.
Upon graduating, Jeff decided that he wanted to continue his development as a spiritual leader and is currently working with Eikon Ministries.
Jeff is currently serving with a ministry team that is committed to sharing the gospel and equipping leaders to make an impact in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Memphis. The training and equipping that Jeff received from StuMo, God is graciously using to transform the city of Memphis.
