This is your friendly reminder to gas up before the big weekend!! ⛽️ A few other things to note...

🍕I'm picking up food, drinks and necessities today. The amount of people coming to Arkansas could disrupt the supply chain and it might take a little time to get your favorites stocked up again...including toilet paper. 🫠

🚗If you do decide to venture out to experience this once in a lifetime event, make sure you have a case of water and snacks in your vehicle. We know traffic is going to be stopped, but not for how long. And I don't know about you, but I get thirsty!!

On that note, you might want an empty container in your vehicle too in case there's not a potty nearby. Just sayin' 🤷🏼‍♀️

💜 Purple flags or spray paint on trees/grass mean "no trespassing" for the Eclipse. Please respect other people's property and wishes.

🩳 Plan on wearing red or green on Monday!
Why? It's supposed to create an optical illusion called the Purkinje effect. I have no idea what that means, but I'm looking forward to experiencing it!! 😍

CAL is hiring for a medical receptionist.

Qualifications:

•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Strong telephone communication skills
•High level of attention to detail
•Strong organization, filing, and time management skills
•Basic computer literacy and typing
•Medical receptionist experience is a plus

***Must be a team player and highly adaptable

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

•Greeting visitors in a professional and pleasant manner
•Relaying incoming telephone calls and directing them appropriately
•Patient intake and check out duties
•Scheduling appointments in accordance with clinic guidelines
•Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays, and deductible amounts
•Prepare charts for patient appointments making sure all necessary information is complete
•Perform duties involving record filing and retrieval and assisting with the filing of registration documentation in electronic medical records

***Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8am to 430pm

Conway Public Schools announced that due to hazardous road conditions and freezing weather, they have decided to close tomorrow (January 16th). As a result, we have made the decision to close for tomorrow as well. Patients will be called to reschedule or switched to telemedicine.

COPD is a chronic lung disease the causes air flow limitation and breathing-related symptoms (such as shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing). There is no cure.
