The City of Homestead downtown has been relatively inactive until recently. A public charrette was organized last week to envision the future of the Downtown area. The charrette proposed the development of four distinct districts that aim to reduce reliance on cars and promote a mix of uses, allowing residents to walk, bike, or use public transportation. - ❤️

The next wave for Habitat for Humanity with
Public Greens, Tree aligned Sidewalks and Paseos

LF Development of Miami has continued trail brazing within the Mixed-Use Corridor District (MCD) in the Fontainebleau area. Our design for this project has integrated rental apartments with a hotel that will be providing enhanced amenities, increased services, community interaction, flexibility for residents, and will be contributing to a vibrant urban district. Our design offers a unique and enriching living experience for residents and an immersive experience for hotel guests that will be within a stone throw from the Miami International Airport.

A first look at our design for Habitat of Miami’s new community for 2024 with public greens, paseos, and tree aligned sidewalks. The goals of Habitat for Humanity are to provide safe and affordable housing for those in need, to promote homeownership as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty, and to advocate for affordable housing solutions worldwide. Habitat for Humanity aims to build strength, stability, and self-reliance in individuals and communities. Their ultimate goal is to create a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Our design incorporates features such as porches, large windows, and living rooms that overlook the sidewalks, paseos, and community greens, promoting a sense of safety and community engagement. These design elements encourage interaction between residents and passersby, fostering a sense of belonging and increased security. Additionally, having open and welcoming spaces can also enhance the overall livability and aesthetics of the neighborhood. This design promotes a vibrant and inclusive community where residents feel connected to their surroundings and can enjoy a safe and pleasant living environment.
