Tomorrow I’ll be making falafel wraps. Homemade falafel with fresh herbs and warm spices, deep fried with hummus, tomato, cucumber, red onion and tahini dressing in a warm pita. It’s healthy, vibrant and so delicious. And you can grab a side of our famous potato chips too. See you tomorrow!

I promised our signature chips. Our delivery is coming on Monday, sometime… I’m going to do my best to get them ready for lunch. If you’re coming for chips and want to be safe consider calling 888-0356 or come Tuesday. We will have some great specials too, more to come.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a signature dish. I’ll be in town next week to resurrect a classic.

I made porchetta for a special today. We paired it with a roasted potato spread, zucchini carpaccio and pecorino cream. Both locations will have the specials today and keep looking for new ones the rest of the week.

I’m in town but I won’t have specials ready till Tuesday. But, if it makes you feel better I’ll be baking fresh bread and making Stracciatella for specials tomorrow. It may sound odd but you have to try the Schiacciata with Mortadella, pistachio pesto and Stracciatella sandwich. It’s just unbelievably delicious. You owe it to yourself to splurge, postpone the diet or just treat yourself. You won’t find anything like it in town. I can’t wait to see you guys!

Shoreline Sandwich Company turned 10 yesterday. I’m still in disbelief about it. I’m so thankful to God for helping me live out my dream. For teaching me what divine favor looks like. I’m thankful for all the relationships we built. I love food, but, I love people more. I hope each of you feel the love and feel welcomed every time you walk through the door.
We still have two locations to serve you. One at the County Courthouse and the other at Kleberg Bank on Staples. I’d never be where I am now without such an awesome staff to run things in my absence. Valerie Morgan Caudill has done a wonderful job taking the reigns. Also thank you to Belinda, Todd, Don and Priscilla who work tirelessly to keep things running.
And lastly thank you Corpus for your love and support through the years. You know how to make someone feel special. I sure do miss all of you.

We now have in some specialty Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Dark Balsamic Vinegars. We'll be featuring these in our specials over the next couple of weeks. Tasting samples will also be available. You won't find these any where in Corpus . . . so be sure to take advantage of these gourmet products while they are available. $25 per bottle.

The holidays will be here before you know it. Have you started planning your menu(s) yet? Brining your turkey is a great way to add flavor and moisture to this Thanksgiving staple! Or if you plan to serve prime rib, this seasoning mixed with butter will make this year's feast one of the easiest to prepare. Limited quantities available!

We haven’t done dinners to go in a while because I got to bring home my baby from a 111 day NICU stay. But, November the 5th we are bringing it back through our Mexican concept Artesano we reopened recently. I love Mexican food and can’t wait to share the regional flavors of Mexico with you. We serve food you won’t find anywhere else in Corpus Christi. Your dinner will start with our version of tortilla soup called Sopa Azteca, it has homemade chicken stock, guajillo chiles, garlic and onion with grilled chicken, pico and queso Oaxaca. Followed by Carne Adovado, pork braised in red chiles, mesquite honey, Mexican oregano and sherry vinegar. It’s served with homemade corn tortillas, our black beans and creamy green chile rice. $28 for two and $50 for four people. We will have delivery available for $7. Shoreline at the Courthouse WILL BE CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, September 21. Over the weekend we had some electrical issues which disabled our most critical equipment including the coffee machine! :( We are not sure how long it will take to get repairs completed, but we are working hard to get it done as quickly as possible.

We are looking for an experienced baker to make desserts on a part-time basis (20-25 hours per week). Prefer someone who is used to baking on a large scale (i.e., can adjust recipes, cook times, etc.).

Prepare food according to company recipes. Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred. Must be efficient, able to follow recipes and instructions, and have a great work ethic. Opportunities for growth.
