In the late 19th century, John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola at Pemberton’s Eagle Drug and Chemical House in Columbus, Georgia, which officially became available for sale on May 8, 1886.

In the 20th century, an 8-year-old boy from Georgia by the name of Truett Cathy would go to the corner store and buy a 6-pack of Coca-Cola for 25 cents. He got ice from the local iceman and would pull his little red wagon full of ice-cold drinks through the streets of his neighborhood, selling refreshment to thirsty customers. At a nickel a bottle, it was a bargain, especially in the middle of a sweltering Georgia summer.

From that time, an entrepreneur was born, and while he would go on to sell much more than just sodas, you can still enjoy an ice-cold Coca-Cola with your Chick-fil-A meal. Truett's story teaches us that dreams can come true with a lot of hard work and a little push. Or in Truett's case, the pull of a little red wagon.

Chick-fil-A’s new Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich balances the delicate flavors of sweet maple syrup combined with a gentle heat and delicious backyard grill flavor 🔥

The sandwich is made with a lemon herb marinated boneless breast of chicken, grilled for a tender, smoky taste. It is served on a buttery and toasted maple flavored brioche bun, topped with Pepper Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, bacon hand-tossed in a brown sugar and pepper blend, topped with sweet and spicy pickles 😋
