Saturday October 21st from 5-7pm at Texas Arena Strength & Fitness
Cash prizes for Male/Female winners on the MAX DEADLIFT event
Entry fee:
$25 to compete only
$40 will secure your entry and T-shirt
$30 t-shirt only last day to pre-order Oct. 11th
Max Deadlift:
Each lifter has 1 minute to complete their initial lift(s)
The winner will be the person with the most weight lifted
Females
Start with an empty bar, warm-up reps, then load 45s to equal 135lbs then add 10lb plates from there.
If they cannot lift the next set, they can remove the 10s and add 5s or 2.5s to find their max deadlift.
Males
Start with an empty bar, warm-up reps, then load 45s to equal 135lbs. Continue to add 45s until the lifter cannot lift the next set. At that point, they can load up to set of 10s, 5s, or 2.5s to find their max deadlift.
1 Minute Max Reps Showdown:
The winner will be the person with the most repetitions overall.
2 Females will face each other and lift their own bar with 135 lbs for as many reps as possible.
2 Males will face each other and lift their own bar with 225 lbs for as many reps as possible.
‼️ Important ‼️
This event will be in a LADDER style meaning each person will lift the same weight at least ONCE until they can't anymore (you can choose to not lift a set)
Lifting straps are allowed
Chalk is allowed
Sumo is allowed
Cross/mixed grip is allowed
Belts are allowed
Remember this is a friendly competition. This is the first we'll be hosting with the hopes of providing more in the future.
