Please go nominate Early Childhood Development Center @ TAMUCC. The nominations close on May 30th and only the top 5 nominees will be on the official ballot! Click on "Kids and Education" then at the very bottom you will see Pre-School and then nominate us. Let’s show Corpus Christi who is the best of that category, and of course that’s ECDC!

The Purple Star Campus Designation program recognizes Texas public schools for their exceptional commitment to supporting and meeting the needs of military-connected students and their families.

All schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, January 16th, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, January 17th.

Lottery School Program of Choice How to Apply is below:
Every newly entering Pre-K-12 student who resides in Corpus Christi ISD boundaries is guaranteed a seat at their zoned school. To obtain information about which school your student is zoned to, please check School locator on the CCISD website. If your Pre-K-12 student is interested in enrolling in any other school, you will need to submit a Corpus Christi ISD Lottery School enrollment application. Each application submitted by February 6, 2021 will go through the following process:

Corpus Christi ISD offers three specialized academic programming campuses (ECDC, Metro E and Metro Prep), but they do not have academic entry requirements. These schools do not have attendance boundaries; any student can apply to attend no matter where they live in Corpus Christi. Students are selected for enrollment through a randomized lottery. If your child is selected, he/she will be notified.
