Mr. Noyola's "official" last day as Principal at Garcia Elementary. "Thank you to the greatest staff, students, parents, & community a person could ask for. Serving as the Principal at Garcia Elementary the past 4 years has been the greatest privilege. I wish everyone including incoming Principal Sonia Vega nothing but the best. Best wishes to the Navigator Community."

Thank you to the entire Garcia ES Faculty & Staff for the beautiful send off & wonderful end of year luncheon for our campus retiree Coach Jerry Martinez, those going off the other endeavors including teachers Claudia Guerra, Daisy Trevino, Julianna Gomez, Data Clerk Bernice Trevino, AP Diana Lopez to Zavala ES, & Principal Danny Noyola going to Haas MS. Thank you to Reno Perez, Stephanie Osborne, their daughter Cora for the delicious brisket meal, absolutely delicious courtesy of Cora's Cafe.

Student Council had their EOY Sundae Party! Thank you to Mrs. Torres and Mrs. Trigo for donating all the items to enjoy this sweet treat! I hope our Navigators continue their STUCO journey in middle school! ❤️

National Alligator Day was fun with our NaviGATOR mascot! Our students and staff enjoyed the visits we made around campus. Congratulations to our two winners! Thank you, Ms. Martinez for making us aware of National Alligator Day!

Pre Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Regmund took "Wear Glasses like Mr. Noyola" Day to the next level for Bosses Week. The students were seeing double all day and had a blast.

We are sharing the news that our outstanding Assistant Principal over the last 2 years Mrs. Diana Lopez will be serving as the AP at Zavala Elementary next school year. We have been so blessed to have her serve our Navigators these past two years. She will do an outstanding job no matter where she is but we definitely miss her. Many Blessings to you Mrs. Lopez and Good Luck. We will finish the year strong with you.

Congratulations to these five Garcia Navigators who read the most words all year long as per their Accelerated Reader data. These students were awarded with a limo ride then heading to Barnes & Noble shopping with a $25 gift card. Their next stop was a free lunch at the Chick-Fil-A on Everhart. Kudos to these avid readers. Thank you to our librarian Marisa Benavides for organizing this. Thank you Becky Diaz for your efforts as well. Congratulations. It pays to READ.

This coming week will be a celebration of appreciation for our Boss, our SUPERHERO, Mr. Noyola! Bosses Week will take place May 20th- May 24th. Please help us celebrate his last bosses week with our Navigator community! Danny Noyola Jr

As Per Moody High School administration the Moody Senior Walk at Garcia Elementary will be postponed due to rain. Will be rescheduled next week.

Today is the last day for the best music teacher in CCISD, Alexis Garcia. She will be finishing the final two weeks at Berlanga & next year will be the full time music teacher at Barnes Elementary. We wish Ms. Garcia the absolute best and thank her for all she has done at Garcia for OUR Navigators. You will be truly missed.
