Our Guests are getting ready for the eclipse on Monday, but we still have a few sites left if you want to join in on the fun.

Put on your protective glasses and come watch the eclipse on April 8th at the American RV Park in Corsicana, Texas. To reserve a site call (903) 872-0233 and join the fun.

The only time you'll break a sweat at the American RV Park is when you're working out at our new Fitness Center.

Wanted to share this gorgeous photo of last night's sunset over our park lake. Kudos to our Park Manager who shot the pic. All I can say is Wow!!!

Here are a few tips to help during freezing weather, especially if you are new to RV life.

1. If you have an exposed water filter it will freeze! If your water filter is not insulated, remove it or add insulation to protect it from freezing and the possibility of breaking.

2. Run your furnace... it will help keep the underbelly of your RV warm.

3. Keep water in your freshwater tank. If your hose/spigot/filter freezes you will still have water.

4. Do not drip water and leave your grey tank open. This will freeze in your drain hose, back up and may flood your RV.

5. Buy a heated water hose they help tremendously. Make sure you’re getting power to them. Water hoses should be heated or at minimum have a heat strip with insulation wrapped around the hose. Water spigot should be insulated also.

6. If you have grey/black tank heaters, turn them on.

7. Report any broken hoses and/or water pipes to your park manager immediately! If you see your neighbor is having a problem, help them out or let the park manager know.

8. Stock up on food and drinking water during freezing temperatures.

9. Check all your outside water connections, hoses, and filters and make sure they are not leaking! If water IS leaking, tighten your connections to stop the leak. If it looks as if the faucet is leaking contact your park manager.

10. Be careful stepping out on your steps! Ice on metal is treacherous!

If you heard some Do Si Dos coming from the American RV Park this weekend it was from the North Texas Camping Squares rally. This group really knows how to party and we love 'em! If your looking for a place to hold your club rally Allemande right over to your phone and make a reservation.

The dirt is flying and we're about to become one of the largest RV parks in Northeast-Central, Texas. We're adding another 100 RV sites to the East side of the existing park, many of which will be on the water. This is an incredible property with a catch and release lake that will have a pier built on it, lovely mature trees, and a walking path around the lake. Wow! If you're considering a move keep American RV Park in Corsicana in mind. Construction should be complete in the next couple of months!
