ISA x Garmi are throwing a new joint event on March 10th from 6-9 pm at the Corvallis Community Center! Mock Sangeet is going to include FREE dinner, group games, and performances! If you would like to perform, please fill out the form in our bio which is due March 2nd at 11:59 pm. The dress code is traditional Indian attire. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
Mock Sangeet is coming up in two weeks, and we are so excited to share that Mock Sangeet will be on March 9th from 6-9 pm, and the location is TBD.

Our Chai and Chat social is getting closer!! It is on this Friday, January 26th, from 6-9 p.m. in ILLC 155! This event will have FREE food such as warm chai, pakoras, samosas, and other snacks! We will also play fun games and socialize! Food is first come first serve for the first 100 people! We hope to see you there!!

DIWALI KI RAAT IS FINALLY HERE!!! It is TONIGHT at 6 pm!! The location is at the Corvallis community center (2601 NW Tyler ave, Corvallis, OR 97330)! Again, FREE dinner including Paneer, Chana, Raita, Naan, and Rice will be provided!!! The dinner is first come first serve for the first 150 people!! See y’all there!!
Dandiya Night is right around the corner! It is on this Sunday, October 15th, from 6 to 9 PM! Join us for a night of dancing and fun! We hope to see you there!

Introducing Shreya Andhole, a fourth-year student majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Psychology with a Medical Humanities Certificate! She will be serving as Social Media Manager of the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an Indian tradition or custom she would like to introduce to the world, Shreya responded, “Bathukamma because I love to make flower arrangements with my mom every year.”
Next, we have Ankith Sridhar, a third-year student majoring in Computer Science and minoring in business. He will be serving as the Instagram and Facebook lead of the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an Indian tradition or custom he would like to introduce to the world, he replied “multiple day weddings, because that means more days of fun, dance, outfits, and food”
Next, we have Abhishek Enaguthi, a second-year student majoring in Computer Science and minoring in business. He will be serving as the TikTok and Video chair of the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an Indian dish that he could eat every single day and not get bored of, he replied “Upma - I know most people hate it, but my mom has some secret recipe.".
To finish out the PR team, we have Anusha Vasudevan, a fourth-year student majoring in BioHealth Sciences, minoring in Chemistry and Public Health with a Certificate in Medical Humanities! She will be serving as the Email and Sponsorship Lead for the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an indian celebrity she would bring to one of our events, Anusha responded, "Karan Johar, because he has all the tea!".
To introduce the ISA 2023-2024 committee, we will start with our Executive team!
Introducing Khushi Gupta, a fourth-year student majoring in BioHealth Sciences and serving as co-president of the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an indian celebrity she would bring to one of our events, Khushi responded, "Arijit Singh, because he would give us the best concert ever!".
Next, we have Shreyes Joshi, a Master's student majoring in Computer Science and serving as co-president of the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an Indian movie he could watch endlessly without ever getting bored, Shreyes replied, "Chak De India!".
To wrap up the exec team, we have Varsha Karthikeyan, a fourth-year student majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. She will be serving as the vice president of the ISA 2023-2024 committee. When asked about an Indian tradition or custom she would like to introduce to the world, Varsha responded, “Eating with your hands because eating rice (especially biriyani) hits different when you use your hand.”.
We have our next event in the 2 weeks! Holi is happening May 13th from 11am to 2pm at the McNary Fields! It will be an action-packed event with music and food! The first 20 people get free food and a free color packet!
