A Legacy of Compassion and Support: Celebrating Jerry Colonna’s Generosity Jerry Colonna's recent gift of $25,000 to Partners In Care is rooted in his personal journey through grief and a desire to offer comfort to others in their darkest moments.

With deep sadness I am letting everyone know that we have lost another beloved CV ‘77 Classmate. Doug FIath died on October 21st in Albany from complications of Diabetes. Doug was a loving husband, caring father, supportive brother and good friend. He would also like to be remembered as a lifelong OSU Beaver Believer.

Doug’s sister Robin shared the following:
Doug’s wife Theresa has not made funeral plans yet thinking of memorial service. Doug was wheelchair-bound and his diabetes was severe. He was receiving kidney dialysis 3x a week and almost completely blind as a result of diabetes complications. So his passing was not a surprise and merciful for him. Theresa is handling it well and their church is helping out. Doug is survived by his wife Theresa, a daughter and son. Siblings Robin and Andrew.

Hello Everyone!

Are you planning on attending our 45 Year Reunion the first weekend in August? Reunions are about reconnecting classmates who grew up together. They are a lot of fun. If you are unsure or have never gone to a reunion, please come! Everyone is always happy to see each other and catch-up. Long forgotten conversations are picked up from 40+ years ago as if they never ended.

This Reunion is extra special. Saturday Night is “Double-Trouble” with Class of ‘76 joining us at The Corvallis Club (AKA Corvallis Country Club). Both CV and CHS in a 4-Class party! There are a lot of couples who crossed the school boundaries and married outside of their school and/or class.

Friday - August 5 at 7 pm: CV ‘77 will be getting together downtown at Murphy’s on the River. 118 NW Jackson (1st Street) Murphy's Patio has been reserved for CV '77 Raiders. CHS ‘77 will be at Tommy’s 4th Street. CV ‘76 is at Woodstocks.CHS '76 is at Trysting Tree. All events are open to everyone.

Saturday Picnic - August 6th from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. Willamette Park Picnic Shelter. CV & CHS ‘77 will be together for the afternoon. “School Photos” will be taken from Elementary through High School. Food will be catered by Nick’s Soul Food Truck.

Saturday Evening - 6:00 pm: The Corvallis Club (1850 SW Whiteside) “Double-Trouble Reunion” All four classes will be together again for the first time since those Friday Night dances after the Football games in the 70's! There is a beautiful patio overlooking the golf course and banquet room. The Club’s renowned Chef will be preparing a light dinner buffet with something for everyone.

Plan on going to the entire reunion. There are some people who only go to one event and they are disappointed because they missed friends who only went to a different event. Be sure to let family & friends know that you are going to be in town. Parents and any former teachers are welcome to attend for free.

John Burright (Class of’78) died on May 5th. Many of you will remember that he was critically injured twenty years ago when hit by a car on I5 while stopped at an accident site. His wife and family never waivered in their love and support of John in the ensuing years. Godspeed John Burright.

Sports: My friend Bill Goslow Most of you didn’t know Bill Goslow. He was my best friend for 65 years. We met when when we were 8 in Southern California and remained besties as the world turned all these decades later. Goslow died last Friday. He was only 73. I got a chance to spend the day with Bill at Good Samarita

Bill Goslow died this afternoon at his home. This is coming as a shock to so many friends who have loved this man who was larger than life, gave so much of himself and taught us all to be better humans. Godspeed Bill Goslow, wherever you are going I hope we can follow.❤️

Here is the first registration information for the Reunion. We finally got pricing from our vendors. Please be assured that we have been very careful to provide for gluten-free, Vegan, Vegetarian diets. As always, the registration fee just barely covers our costs. Last reunion we ended up with a whopping $48 left in our account! We had to increase the registration fee by $5 this time to make it all work. This is still a bargain and we promise that no one will be disappointed.
