Hello!!

My name is Kenya, and I'm the Patient Services Representative at the new Lakeland Clinic. I will be your first point of contact when you come in for your initial and follow-up appointments! I've lived in Auburn for over 20 years and am no stranger to the Lakeland area. I'm excited to meet you and look forward to supporting you as you go through your Physical Therapy journey from beginning to end.

A little bit about me: I love crafting, spending time with friends and family, and pickleball. I have my Master's in Social Work from Walla Walla University and am a mother of two young adult children.

Meet Michael Huffington, PT, DPT and his wife, Jennifer!

Hi! I'm Michael, Sumner-ite, physical therapist and the director of our brand new Lakeland Hills clinic. I am a board certified specialist in both orthopedic and sports, and have 12 years of experience treating injuries of truly every sort. I especially enjoy helping optimize people's movement strategies to get rid of those pesky chronic repetitive stress injuries.

Enough about me, though. Let's talk about Lakeland! I'm very excited for the PNW Sports Institute to become a cornerstone of the awesome Lakeland community. We aim to keep you and your family in the sport of life and we propose to have a lot of fun doing that both in and out of the clinic. We hope that you will join us for some of community events (don't worry - we'll keep you posted on the goings on!) and if you do have an injury to work through or are just in need of a "tune up,” get over to the clinic and we'll get you sorted out. But hurry, because the good weather days to go play are almost upon us!

Adam had the best time with the THS Sports Medicine Team at the WCTSMA Sports Medicine Competition and Conference. 🩻📚🏆

Students from 27 schools met in Spokane, WA to test their skills and learn more about the field of Sports Medicine.

The team placed 11th overall!! Well done, Bears!! ⭐️

As an honorable mention, the team also took first place in the BINGO challenge. 😉

Seven months post-shoulder surgery, cleared to return to sport just 41 days ago, and NOW Liz is headed to State!

Six months ago, a shoulder injury (and surgery) changed her junior year in ways she would never choose. However, Liz has worked SO hard to get back to it!

Liz was able to participate in a modified capacity for her swim season and now, she is FULLY CLEARED for the remainder of wrestling season. We are so proud of you, Liz!!

"Adam is the best!! He is awesome at getting you back to your normal activities—especially sports! I am grateful for all his expertise, and positive energy which helped me get through this injury and back to the sport I love!"

While using the Neuro Muscular Electronic Stimulation Machine he was able to tolerate the highest setting of 100! You can tell from the look on his face, it's a little uncomfortable, but he did it.
