Tropical Storm Phillipe has arrived and expected to bring 8+ inches of rain to the island. 💦 This is like liquid gold as the rain fills our cisterns which provides water to our condo! A perfect day to curl up on the veranda with a good book as we listen to the rain.

Another new island addition! Mid Way Cafe & Grill located at Mid Way Plaza on Centerline opened this week. According to a menu recently posted they will be serving up ribs, chicken, lobster, fish and steak among other comfort food items like Mac & cheese and pasta + potato salad. Can’t wait to check them out!

The park sprawls across most of St. John, protecting unspoiled beaches edged by coral reefs, sea turtle breeding grounds, and hiking trails that meander through tropical forests. The park also preserves plantation sites and the ancient petroglyphs of the Indigenous Taino so guests can learn about the island's history of colonialism and enslavement. We 🫶🏼
