📢👕 Do you have a 3rd-5th grader? Have them enter a design for the National Night Out t-shirt contest with the Crystal Lake Police Department! Submissions are due by June 30th to Officer Kris at [email protected]. If their artwork is chosen, they'll not only get their design printed on the t-shirts, but they'll also get to ride to school in a police car! 🚔✨

We understand that access to high-quality mental care is a significant barrier for children and their families. That's why we sought to enhance our capacity to provide additional mental health support to a greater number of students and families.

Second graders took two field trips this week. They saw CatKid Comic Club at the Raue Center for the Arts and Elf Jr. at Hannah Beardsley Middle School.🧝🐱🐻

North Families!

The annual art show features the creativity of District 47 students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be available for viewing from Thursday, May 2nd through Tuesday, May 10th. Two open house events will be held the first week of May for District 47 families. Families are encouraged to attend the open house for their child’s school if possible per the schedule below:

Thursday, May 2, 2024, 4pm-7pm (Canterbury, Indian Prairie, South, West, Bernotas & Lundahl)

Friday, May 3, 2024, 4pm-7pm (Coventry, Glacier Ridge, Husmann, North, Woods Creek & Hannah Beardsley)

ATTENTION: Husky community! We have decided to re-schedule our Husky Quest for FRIDAY April 19th! Our students have worked way too hard and our community has been way too generous to have their celebration rained on! Thank you all for your continued support! REMINDER: On Friday please have your student wear their grade level tee shirt, comfortable gym shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather! We'll see you on Friday at our Husky Quest!
