For the first time ever, Allegany Magazine asked you – our readers – to vote online for our “Best of Allegany” awards! We wanted to hear from you not only about what makes Allegany County (and our surrounding communities) so great but also who is behind all of it. Who are some of the people and the personalities behind your favorite restaurants, hot spots, theatres, books, and businesses? And hear from you we did! Nearly 3000 legitimate serious votes were cast in 60 different categories. We asked you to actually type in the names and so you had to make an actual invested effort if you wanted your favorites to appear in this edition that celebrates all things “best” about living, working, and playing where we do. We were overwhelmed and inundated and just plain slammed by ballots and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

It shows that the readers of Allegany Magazine genuinely care about local businesses, the folks behind these establishments, and supporting the community.

If you’ve been meaning to stop by and grab one, please do so. If you don’t have time to shop, we also have a donation jar to help our shoppers cover costs for envelopes which aren’t selected.

There are many families in need in our area this Christmas and your giving is a huge blessing. Thank you!

Our Christmas tree is lit and decorated with envelopes containing requested items for community members in need. If you have been blessed this year and would like to make someone’s holiday brighter, stop by and choose an envelope. Gifts are due back to Bella Napoli by 12/17.

We are excited to share an opportunity to help those in need this Christmas! Just like last year, our tree contains envelopes with a few items from a wish list provided by a community member in need. If you would like to help, you may come take an envelope. The item(s) need to be
returned (wrapped or unwrapped) by 12/18 for disbursement to the recipients before Christmas.

If you have been blessed this year, come help us spread that blessing to others! We are so happy to call this a Bella Napoli Christmas tradition!
