Food counter, 1 full time position: take customer orders, accept payment and serve customers at food counter and tables.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service;
- Greet and ask guests about their favorite pastry / food;
- Use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change, answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at tables;
- Take guests’ orders, offering suggestions and upsells about the most delicious menu items;
- Preparing coffee-type drinks from an automated coffee machine
- Keep records of the quantities of food used;
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, and keep all areas clean and safe for guests;
- Fill condiment dispensers, help with washing dishes in downtimes;
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs;
- Reset tables with napkins, silverware, glasses and dishes;
- Organize the workplace and prepare it for next shift.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Salary:
$13-$15/ hr +tip
Tu -Fr: 10-4

Ultimately the food counter should be able to follow all food health and safety regulations and display exceptional organizational skills to ensure the timely completion of kitchen duties.
