In case you haven't met him yet, this is our winemaker (& partner) Russell Hearn. He will never brag about his experience, so we will gladly do it for him!
🍷 Russells diverse winemaking experience includes Western Australia, New Zealand, France, and regions across the US. Russell's superpower (in our opinion) is knowing how to work ~with~ the fruit based on how the region, climate, and vintage will impact the nuances of the final harvest.
🍇 Instead of manipulating and changing the harvest to bend or shape it into something it is not- instead, he leans into the character of local fruit by simply guiding the process in an intuitive way with minimal intervention.
🗺️ When he is not making wine, he can be found spending time with his family, traveling, or skiing. (Sorry ladies, he is taken 💞)

Coming this fall: the return of Lieb Estate Sauvignon Blanc! This wine will rest in the winery after bottling to ease "bottle shock" (Bottle shock is the temporary alteration in taste & aroma that can occur in wine shortly after bottling.) We plan to release this one sometime this fall to ensure it is at it's very best! As always, wine is a practice in patience- but the reward is always great!
