2023 Tourney on the Turf

So grateful to be part of this amazing tournament. We LOVE when past recipients come back to visit 💗

Had the honor last night to meet with the beneficiaries of the 15th Annual Tourney on the Turf. AnnMarie and Woody Brooks are extremely grateful and inspired by the outpouring of love and support from the volleyball community. It was a heartwarming moment when we surprised them with the results of everyone's giving! There were tears (good ones), hugs, and many kind words about volleyballers that played, helpers that gave their time, and especially the kind and charitable people that gave.

This tournament is special. It's an opportunity for an amazing volleyball community to show up for a family that needs help. It never fails! The tournament is just a rally-cry to say "someone needs our help!" And then the giving begins. Somehow this common thread... all of us loving the game of volleyball... magically makes some difference for a truly deserving couple.

Thank you to everyone that participated! Your efforts and giving generate an amazing donation to AnnMarie and Woody of $8,500! Their gratitude is genuine and both plan to attend future Tourneys on the Turf (as honored alumni!). They hope to see you all return to make a similar difference in 2023.

There is still time to register! This is all about the Brooks family so if you can get a team together before 10am tomorrow (that's Sunday, Aug 7), do it! We'll adapt and get you included on a net. Remember, at Tourney on the Turf, everyone goes to playoffs! It's fun and we get to help out an amazing family!

2022 Tourney on the Turf

The 15th Annual Tourney on the Turf is happening on August 7th, 2022. Our beneficiary this year is Woody Brooks. Woody and his wife Annmarie have played volleyball for decades in the northeast Ohio area and now they need our help. Woody had a spinal cord injury back in October and it's time for us to step up and show our support. If you can play, join us! Registration is now open for the tournament. If you can't play, consider giving!!! More information and backstory will be shared soon.
