My name is Mike McDonald, and I'm a dentist that makes videos on Biblical worldview.

I haven't uploaded a video in over five months. It's the longest I have ever taken off in my five years of making videos (primarily on youtube).

This video explains why, as well as a brief reflection what I would do different in ministry over the past five years. It also features important advice from a conversation I had with Sean McDowell

Please subscribe to my email list (In the comment because Faceb*ok will shadow-ban it if it contains a link) to help fight against the cεnsorship of my channel. I plan on only sending out one email a month containing the videos released in that month and any channel updates there. Youtube has taken steps to take down my channel in the past, and it's time we took a few steps to prevent getting completely silεnced.

I will not back down.

I recently had the privilege of Interviewing professor Nancy Pearcey on her latest book “The Toxic War on Masculinity: How Christianity Reconciles the sexes.”

It’s undoubtedly one of the best books I’ve read this year. It’s content is timely yet evergreen and will be an important contribution to the Christian faith for years to come. I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say that I think it should be mandatory reading for men and women, married and unmarried, complementarian and egalitarian.

A few days ago, a successful dentist named Dr. Field Harrison was trending on twitter for heretical comments he made during at growing church he started. This church has been hosting an outdoor worship event called “amen nights” in downtown Dallas. This is my response from one dentist to another.

“Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop, within a yard of hell... My prayer is, when I die, all of hell rejoices that I am out of the fight...[and] with one fool less to handicap him, God will do greater wonders still!”

Many Christians often feel like they are losing the culture war. The reality is, we did not get here overnight and much of the challenges we are facing is a direct product of multigenerational apathy. It will not be cured overnight as true transformation rarely happens with swiftness. In this video, I talk about what Christians need to do to change the cultural tide.

"When I also think about the situation of the world, the complete darkness over our personal fate and my personal imprisonment, then I believe that our union can only be a sign of God’s grace and kindness, which calls us to faith. We would be blind if we did not see it. Jeremiah says at the moment of his people’s great need ‘still one shall buy houses and acres in this land’ as a sign of trust in the future. This is where faith belongs. May God give it to us daily. And I do not mean the faith which flees the world, but the one that endures the world and which lovers and remains true to the world in spite of all the suffering which it contains for us." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer in "Letters and Paper from Prison"

This excerpt comes from a letter that Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a german pastor and theologian, wrote to his fiancé while in a N**i Prison on August 12th, 1943.

C.T. Studd: From Elite Athlete to Missionary 12/24/2021

By the age of 24, C.T. Studd was a millionaire and one of the most elite athletes of his time.

He shocked western Europe when he abandoned his athletic career and wealthy lifestyle for the sake of Christ. This path would take him through dangerous jungles, angry rioters, and even preaching the gospel to Cannibals in the heart of Africa.

Richard Wurmbrand: Tortured for Christ 12/22/2021

Should one pledge allegiance to God or to country? For Richard Wurmbrand, the answer to this question led him to years of inprisonment and brutal torture at the hands of Romanian communists. Later, Wurmbrand started the organization which would later be known as the "Voice of the Martyrs" or VOM. This is his story, which is largely take from his book, "Tortured for Christ."

“I have seen Christians in communist prisons with fifty pounds of chains on their feet, tortured with red-hot iron pokers, in whose throats spoonfuls of salt had been forced, being kept afterward without water, starving, whipped, suffering from cold—and praying with fervour for the communists. This is humanly inexplicable! It is the love of Christ, which was poured out in our hearts.” – Richard Wurmbrand.
