We asked Laura how she became interested in working with people who stutter, "I became interested in working together with people who stutter after I met a 10 year old girl who stuttered. We explored the therapeutic relationship as a safe place to talk about talking. This experience fueled my commitment to delve deeper into the intricacies of stuttering, driven by a desire to enhance my clinical skills and extend meaningful support to a broader community of individuals navigating the varied impacts of stuttering."

I had a fantastic time presenting at HPISD today! Thank you for inviting me to speak about working together with and supporting people who stutter. It was great to see so many engaged speech language pathologists, dedicated to supporting individuals who stutter.

📚Thank you, UTD , for having me back today to lecture in the graduate level stuttering class. It was so much fun to be back at my alma mater and connect with the graduate students.
✨When I graduated from there, 15 years ago, I started my journey as a speech language pathologist.
