Women in the arts, leading the way!

OP is proud to be a women-led company, yet we also recognize that opera has a long way to go when it comes to gender disparity in leadership positions. As part of her artistic advocacy work, General and Artistic Director Nicole Paiement mends this gap by serving on the faculty of the Hart Institute of Women Conductors at The Dallas Opera, cultivating the women conductors and leaders of tomorrow.

With this in mind, we are thrilled that the Hart Institute will be conducting livestream panel discussions next week that are open to the public: "Women in Art and Leadership" on Nov. 15 and "Cultivating an Opera Community" on Nov. 17!
