Our prep week for day camp JUST STARTED!!! But there is still time for you to crash in 🤩 we are getting ready!

Connie McKenzie is the Founder and Director of KFN. Additionally, she oversees the Children and Families Major at Christ For The Nations Institute, driven by her passion to equip ministers to effectively share the Gospel with children and families worldwide. Holding an M.A. from Dallas Baptist University and a B.S. from the University of Kentucky, she is also a CFNI graduate. Actively involved in the global 4/14 Movement, she has ministered in over 20 nations and led CFNI students on numerous overseas mission trips. Connie McKenzie has played a pivotal role in mentoring and developing leaders through her teaching and servant-leader approach.

Kathryn Petit-Frère has a dynamic history with the Lord from a very early age. She received Jesus at just 4 years old, and went on her first missions trip that same year!

She went to KFN Pr***en Impact as a camper when she was 11 years old!

Now, she is serving as the Interim Assistant Director of KFN. It is a full circle summer!
She loves training up generations to fulfill the call of God upon their lives.

Katy longs to fulfill the great call of being a laid-down lover of Jesus Christ, no matter the cost. Her heart is to always give the Lord her “yes,” and to never turn away from His face. Her life vision is to be Christ’s ambassador to the men, women and children who are at risk in the nations of the earth, while all her hope remains in God being all in all. The steady cry of Kathryn’s heart is, “Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus.”

This woman needs no introduction. Pamela has been an integral part of the KFN staff team for many years. She is multi-talented and a valuable asset to the KFN team. With her "let's get it done!" attitude, she loves serving people, especially the leadership team and the interns.

A graduate of the CFNI Children & Family major, Pamela also teaches at the CFNI preschool. Whether she's in the KFN office or all over camp, you can count on Pamela to be working on various tasks. She is a team player and is dedicated to making KFN a better place for everyone.

Meet Alexis, the KFN 2024 Registrar!
Alexis has been a valuable member of the KFN team for many years and is entering her second year in the registrar role. Since last summer, she has married Sam, who is also a KFN veteran. They make such a sweet & fun couple!

In addition to her registrar duties, Alexis is a preschool teacher at CFNI and a CFNI Children & Family Major alumni! Her love for working with children of all ages is evident, and she has excelled as a children's pastor at Trinity Church.
Alexis's passion for the Lord is contagious, and she isn't afraid to show her love for Him, making her the perfect person to connect with parents and other church leaders who are involved with KFN.

Meet Filipe, the KFN 2024 Pastoral Leader who will also be assisting the Islander team!

Filipe is from Brazil and is married to his beautiful wife, Mariana. Together, they have two wonderful children, Giovana and Pedro. He has always been deeply involved in ministry.

With a father's heart, Filipe served as a lifeguard at KFN last summer. He is passionate about raising up this generation for Jesus. In his free time, Filipe loves to spend time with his family, laugh, and worship the Lord with his bass guitar. His favorite snack is Oreos.

We are excited to see what God will do through Filipe and his family as they serve at KFN this summer.

Meet Krys, our outstanding 2024 Hospitality Lead!
Originally from the Boston area, Krys brings energy wherever she goes. She has a deep passion for God's kingdom and this generation. Krys is known for her creativity and enjoys sharing about her family.

This summer, Krys will co-lead the hospitality team with Daisy. Her attention to detail and excellent communication skills make her a great leader. In her downtime, Krys loves to snack on yummy popcorn. The KFN team is in great hands with the dynamic hospitality team! 🙌

Meet Daisy, one of the KFN 2024 Hospitality Leads!
Daisy has a passion for making things beautiful and caring for people, making her an ideal fit for the hospitality role. Last summer, she led the indoor cooking activity at Day Camp and transformed the kitchen into a shining example of her skills.

With a servant's heart, Daisy enjoys bringing creative ideas to the KFN team. She is graduating from the Children & Family major at CFNI and loves to serve this generation. When she's not busy with her responsibilities, you can find Daisy snacking on chocolate-covered pretzels.

We are excited to see all that God will do through Daisy's life this summer! ❤🌿🐢

Meet Daniel - the KFN 2024 Swiss Army Knife!
Daniel is a multi-talented individual, excelling in acting, intercession, clowning, fixing, building, teaching, and much more. His versatility makes him an exceptional Swiss Army Knife for this summer! ☀

Having served as a lifeguard at KFN for the past two summers, Daniel is known for his joyful attitude and servant's heart. Originally from Colombia, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Daniel enjoys snacking on grapes and string cheese, and he is passionate about spreading the gospel to the nations. 🌎

This past Saturday, we had an amazing KFN team working on the go-kart track!
As we draw closer to the summer, it's so exciting to see all the pieces coming together for camp! 🛞🏎☀️💪🏼

Mariana is our exceptional 2024 KFN media leader!
She is gifted in videography and photography, always brainstorming creative ways to share about KFN with the world. This creativity shines through in the reels and posts she creates.

Mariana believes that media is a powerful tool to impact lives, touch a generation, and raise awareness about what's happening at KFN. She has a passion for serving kids and serving God in the ways He leads her. Mariana loves to snack on cookies and is originally from Brazil! 🇧🇷🍪📸
