Last month, Rudick Construction Group and RGA Architects hosted the inaugural Builders for Good fundraiser at the Dallas Gun Club to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Dup15 Alliance. The event drew over 70 participants across 19 teams for a day of clay shooting. Guests enjoyed networking, a delicious Mediterranean lunch, a gun raffle, and refreshing post-event drinks. Thanks to our incredible sponsors and guests, we raised $33,500 each for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Dup15q Alliance!

We are extremely thrilled to announce our partnership with St. John Properties, Inc. in bringing Westinghouse Crossing to life in Georgetown, TX. Poised for promising real estate, the 24-acre site will feature four flex R&D buildings at approximately 170,000 SF.

Earlier this month, members of our Preconstruction team attended the Advancing Preconstruction conference in Denver. There, they took part in workshops to learn more about effectively managing risk, providing more accurate estimates to clients, and developing best data governance practices.

It's Construction Safety Week! While our mission at RCG will forever be to uphold Quality Always in our people, partnerships, and projects, we understand that these will only be as good as the quality of our safety programs on our job sites. To quote Richard H., our Corporate Safety Director, "Safety is not an option and it's not second nature, it is engrained in every tightening of a hard hat, fit of a vest, and click of a harness. When you step inside that chain linked fence, you too are responsible for ensuring the other men and women there leave a jobsite in good health."

Our team is honored to work with Ackal Architects in bringing this project to life in our community to assist Mr. Caubarreaux and his team in continuing their mission of "Do It Right". Rudick Construction Group is excited to collaborate with PulteGroup, LRK, LandDesign, and KFM Engineering & Design on the Amenity Center in Del Webb at Legacy Hills. This project, set upon a 10-acre greenfield site will span 15,625 square feet. The future amenity center will feature a café/bar, a movement studio, a fitness center, and a spacious ballroom for various activities and events. Outside, residents will find an inviting oasis featuring a resort-style pool spanning 6,720 square feet and a 406-square-foot heated spa.

More milestones completed for Bright Realty’s Crown Centre II! We’re looking forward to handing over the keys to them and many future happy tenants to come.

Crown Centre II is moving right along as this Class A office building nears 80% completion. Rudick Construction Group has completed tasks like roof hatch installation and concrete placement at the precast garage. Ongoing work includes frame and glass, ductwork, drywall and sheetrock installation across various levels. Stay tuned for further updates on our progress! Last week our Corporate Safety Director, Richard, along with a third-party safety consultant teamed up with our field crew to conduct an internal safety audit and site inspection at our job sites. 🦺

We are committed to ensuring every corner of our work environment is hazard-free, safeguarding our valued employees and trade partners so they can always return safely to their families.

In honor of National Leadership Day, we're recognizing these three individuals as they were recently promoted for their leadership skills and their everyday willingness to get the job done with tenacity and a team approach.

Our Vice President of Business Development, Lee Sawyer, recently joined colleagues at Associated Builders and Contractors of Texas to present Texas State Representative Chairman Jeff Leach and Rep. Justin Holland with Eagle Awards. These awards recognize legislators for their legislative contributions and advocacy for the construction industry. Lee represents Rudick well by serving as the chair of ABC Central Texas Governmental Affairs Committee.

Our marketing team is unlocking valuable insights and best practices at the SMPS Southern Regional conference in Austin, TX this week. We feel fortunate to be among and learn from AEC industry experts and leaders!

RCG, alongside Fort Worth Western Rail, Union Pacific Rail, the client, and trade partners, orchestrated the safe lift of a 120-foot, 135,000-pound bridge section over an active railroad using a 600-ton crane. The bridge, initially constructed 6 feet above the ground, was placed on its four columns in a meticulous 10-hour operation. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this bridge project a success!

Earlier this month, RCG and Rudick Innovation & Technology kicked off the holiday season with our annual company meeting and Christmas party at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden! Our team embraced the holiday spirit amidst the Christmas Village lights and beautiful landscapes, creating lasting memories as we close out 2023 together. Allow us to introduce Superintendent, Josh Meaux, as our November spotlight! Josh has been a valued member of the Rudick team for five years, bringing enthusiasm into the field each day. Most recently, he acquired his OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and Certified Healthcare Physical Environment Worker certifications. We're thankful for the dedication he has to our mission and projects!

Yesterday, across our offices, we had plenty of reasons to smile and be thankful as our team's kids joined us for the first annual Take Your Kid to Work Day. They explored every department learning more about their parents' day-to-day duties, using their creativity to design logos, purchase material with play money to construct buildings with Legos, and engage in bingo featuring Rudick projects. From our families to yours, we want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

The Rudick team has been out and about in their respective Texas and Louisiana communities supporting non-profits, participating in industry association events, and enjoying some team building in the process. Between people and partnerships, this is where the magic truly lies!
