We were given permission to take pictures of this beautiful mural. This mural is large and the pics had to be taken in fragments. It is awe inspiring. Included as the spiritual witnesses in this painting are:
Abraham
Isaiah
King David
Moses
Elijah
Noah
Queen Esther
John the Baptist
Daniel. Each witness represents prophecy or foreshadowing, which points to the Messiah. The Museum was worth it just for this mural alone.
We studied this mural for a while...so much detail, I didn't want to leave.

"Don't Buy the Lies from the devil"

"The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." - John 10:10 NLT

The devil is always attempting to get us to buy the lie...that when we have "messed up", made a mistake, and sinned, that the love of Jesus is withdrawn from us. Many of us are still living in the guilt and shame of mistakes and sins from long ago, last year, last month, last week....in the midst of this, the enemy speaks lies ..." After what you've done, God can't possibly love you"..." You are less and what you have done, has cost you a good life." " You are destroyed and unlovable". "Give up". These, lies, if we allow them to linger in our mind, will seep into our hearts (breaking it apart) drain our spirit ( exhausting every breath ),Annihilate our joy and distort our view of the ONE who truly loves us unconditionally...JESUS. Because of the sacrifice, which He made for us (dying on the cross for our sins, guilt, and shame), our "sins have been removed from as far as the east is from the west"- Psalm 103:12 and our sins" have been cast into the depths of the sea"- Micah 7:19. When we repent and give Jesus ALL of ourselves, making Him our Savior and Lord, we are made brand new. The covenant in Jesus is the Covenant of His unshakeable, unrelenting,and perfect love. This is the love which makes us whole. This is a bond that shall NOT be broken.
' " For I am convinced [ and continue to be - convinced --beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor principalities, nor things present, and threatening. nor things to come, nor powers, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited ] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". - Romans 8:38-39 . So matter what we are facing, struggling through, crawling through, no matter how bad it gets, Jesus will not abandon us and revoke His love. The devil attempts to get US to abandon Lord Jesus and trick us into thinking that we didn't step away...it was Jesus. But that is a LIE, NOTHING SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF JESUS.
There is NEW life in Christ Jesus, no matter what stage or season of life we are experiencing. His purpose for us is established by His own Words and they are not void. Do not give the devil a listening ear!!

MEDITATION OF THE HEART

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD CONTINUALLY MAKES ONE WEALTHY AND HE ADDS NO PAINFUL AND EXHAUSTING LABOR WITH IT!

Merry Christmas! Have a blessed day with family and friends. And remember that Jesus really is the reason for celebration.

A few weeks ago, Pastor Phillip and I were traveling on I-45 near Dallas. On one of the passing billboards , we saw the following message: ( Beside the picture of the Nativity Scene)- "AVOID FAKE NEWS, STAY AWAY FROM CHURCH". I was reminded of a testimony from a former atheist, which I saw on television. Here is my best recollection through my notes, during the interview: Nov. 29. 2017

(former atheist, explaining what she thought about Christians)...
"...I was frustrated ... how could a people believe so strongly, yet explain so poorly?"

What fueled her atheism were unanswered questions about the existence of God. She would debate with those who would testify of the Lord's validity.
Over the years, there were at least two women, who befriended her. They loved Jesus "stubbornly", and never gave up on demonstrating the love of Christ towards her. She loved being around them, she felt better...even about herself...something kept drawing her . Eventually, after repeatedly being asked, she accepted an invitation to church ( a small country church). She sat on the back row, not expecting anything to happen or to be persuaded in thought. On that back row, she experienced a Supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ. The experience lasted 2 and 1/2 hours. She describes the sensations of waters cascading over her. She saw and experienced the TRUTH. She repented, acknowledging that Father God is real, as well as His Son Jesus Christ. She said to Jesus, " I don't know if you are asking a question, but if you want me, I'm yours".

* To hear her tell her story, is more fascinating than my mere notes. As we approach the crux of this Christmas Season, many will give a mere nod to Jesus, if that at all. Most will celebrate family and friends and a growing number will discount His validity.
John 1:1-5 " In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God , and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and HIS LIFE BROUGHT LIGHT TO EVERYONE.
THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS AND THE DARKNESS CAN NEVER EXTINGUISH IT."
*Jesus Christ is the Word of Life. He is our foundation and the impenetrable Light that shines. It shines on through, illness, doubt, anxiety, worry, fear, ...there is absolutely nothing that has and shall overcome it...not even our questions. NO matter who we are. Jesus has made Himself available to answer the TRUE questions in your heart, through the illumination of HIS LOVE and Truth." So EXPLORE AND SEE IF THE NEWS IS FAKE. INVITE JESUS TO REVEAL THE TRUTH.

You are the body of Christ, which means sickness doesn't belong to you, poverty doesn't belong to you! The enemy whispers to you that you made bad choices, or you not good with money. LIES!!

As we approach the end of 2017, we are excited to enter into 2018 with a fresh vision, new eyesight, a new anointing , and new vitality. Our story is one of triumph, even in the midst of illnesses, trials, losses, and suffering. The Lord Jesus has been faithful to us and we are still standing together, to Glorify the Lord and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We continue to believe that the Supernatural workings of the Holy Spirit are still active and relevant . Our prayer that those who visit will be encouraged to seek and accept an intimate relationship with Lord Jesus, our Messiah, Our Hope,...Our EVERYTHING.
