Since' 1997, DJ Phooka was part of a movement that all started on lowest Greenville, at a Reggae influenced pool hall called the Royal Rack. This night extended for many many years, and eventually had to evolve into other legendary venues such as The Red Jacket / Ruby Room, Zubar, Ecco Lounge, and more, as the night itself kept outliving the life spans of the venues.
