Got these super dope Kill Shots for my 50th Birthday this week from my DS5 Brothers. What an awesome brotherhood we’ve created. It’s an honor to share a life with you guys! 🖐🏾 QUICK MEDICAL UPDATE: God continues to heal me from the Aplastic Anemia and even without treatment my numbers and blood counts continue to improve. My red blood cells are finally in normal range, my hemoglobin is low but knockin on the door! My platelets are now up to 81 as of yesterday on their way to the normal range of 130-400. My white cells seem to be the most stubborn. They’re still pretty low seem to just yo yo up and down a bit, though much higher than the were in late 2021. But all in all God is doing some mighty things in this 50 year old body of mine and I praise him for it. Thank you for all the prayers and support! As you can see, He’s answering in a mighty way! Many blessings, y’all. 🦋❤️🙏🏾

Shout out to the homie for showing me and some love during his all vinyl dj set last night in Cali. It’s such a blessing and an honor when any dj includes our vinyl in a set these days. Vinyl is heavy, so most DJs don’t bring more than a couple crates when they spin. So to make that shorter “short list” anytime is extremely humbling. Thanks to all the DJs like , , , etc. who keep us on rotation and thanks to the record label folks like , and the folks at who made vinyl possible for all of us Deepspace5ers thoughout our humble music careers. It was so much fun connecting with my DS5 🖐🏾 bros, Krum and Manchild, along with my son Andreon and the homie Dustin last weekend in Arlington. It was the first time I’ve left my home for anything even remotely social since August 2021 right before my bout with Aplastic Anemia. What a blessing it is to have people in your life that care about you. 🦋

MEDICAL UPDATE: I’m going to use this cute picture of my dog (Malachi the Magnificent 🐶) as an opportunity to give everyone a quick update on my situation. First of all thank you all for your continued prayers and support since this all started back on 8/30/21.

🦋QUICK BACKSTORY for those not aware: Back in late August/early September I spent 11 days in the hospital with Aplastic Anemia, a rare condition where your blood and platelet counts drop below normal, causing skin bruising, severe fatigue, and high risk of bleeding and infection. At that time my platelet count was 4 on a normal range of 130-400 which meant my blood was incapable of clotting. After a week of extensive tests including a bone marrow biopsy, the doctors determined it was a rare but known adverse reaction to the Pfizer vaccine that I had just received earlier in August. So I went through some steroid treatments as well as some immunosuppressive chemotherapy to try to get my bone marrow and stem cells to start producing again.

🦋FAST FORWARD to now: God has been with me through it all and continues heal me one day at a time. I’m no longer on any oncology treatments as my blood counts have stabilized (though still well below normal). My energy is probably around 80-85% of what I’d consider normal but vastly improved. My platelet count is around 60 as it’s been up and down (as high as 90 a few weeks back). And though there may be “medical” need for further treatments in the future, I’m trusting God that my body will continue to heal in his timing to be used for his glory within his perfect will. Please continue to lift me in prayer as I learn to live within this “new normal” (for this season). I’m so grateful for all of you and I wish each of you all of God’s best for you and your families! 🦋🙏🏾🦋❤️🦋
