▪️Are You Getting Enough Protein In Your Diet?▪️

Those who are physically active will need more protein than someone who is sedentary. Here's the breakdown:

-Sedentary: .8g/kg of body weight, per day. Or 10-20% of total calories.
-Athletes: 1.2-2g/kg of body weight, per day. Or 15-35% of total calories.
-Special Circumstances (intense training, weight loss): >2 g/kg of body weight, per day. Or 25-35% of total calories.

Most people will fall in the .8 to 1.2 g/kg range, but if you start training more often (or at a higher intensity), you may need to start increasing your protein intake.
