Update on me…
Great to be home. Friends bringing food! So thankful. Doctor’s appointment today… a good report from current CT scan. No cancer… no other lung disease. PRAISE GOD WITH ME!

However, it will take time to recover. It’s a virus they haven’t seen before and can’t identified. So I’m sending time in bed. Not publishing music. As Leah said… God is responsible for us. And I couldn’t be in better hands.

Thank you for your prayers. They continue to heal and sustain me. I love you all dearly. ❤️

MY BIRTHRIGHT AS A CHILD OF GOD!

What is the meaning of birthright?
The word birthright signifies the rights inherited due to one's birth. This especially applies if one is born into royalty. In the same way, since we have been spiritually born of God into His royal family, we have been endowed with certain rights and gifts.

Romans 8:16 & 17

Christmas Joy Cantata, is a cantata that celebrates the birth of Jesus. It is written for a moderately easy SATB choir with solos and duets throughout.

It also has speaking parts that can be narrative or dramatized, depending on your particular needs. Along with familiar Christmas songs such as Christmas Joy Medley where the congregation joins in with the choir, there is also room for a little humor when the men sing, No Room.

The choir can either robe up, wear formal or informal attire, or even wear biblical costumes, portraying the Bethlehem towns people. It’s your choice.

PRAYERS NEEDED…
In the hospital again tonight for the third time in August. My lungs again. The difference this time… I’m in the care of UTSW here in Dallas, one of the best medical centers in America.

Am I weary? Yes. Do I feel sick? Yes. Do I feel discouraged? Yes. Am I hopeful? Yes. Why? God and His healing power is with me. An amazing daughter, granddaughter, grandson and family that are always supporting me with love and prayers. And you… with your constant powerful prayers, always for Gary and me. This time it’s me. Thank you. ❤️

ENGAGING THE ENEMY
Battles, for the Child of God, whether in the physical or spiritual realm, are inevitable. God has equipped us to win the battles that will bring victory. We can see that plan in the life of Joshua. Even though he lived under a different covenant than we do today, he still experienced God’s power in the battles and victories he fought. Let’s see what we can learn from the warrior, Joshua.

KNOW THE ENEMY
Joshua 5:13 “Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us or for our adversaries?"
In order to know the enemy, Joshua had to do three things: 1) He looked; 2) He went; 3) He confronted. Engaging the enemy requires boldness. Joshua wasn’t afraid. He point blank asked, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?”
In today’s world, how can we learn more about our “enemies”?
Why is it important to identify the enemy?
Name some spiritual enemies. Name some physical enemies.

KNOW THE PLAN
Joshua 5:14a And he said, "No, rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the Lord."
It is important to have a plan before you engage the enemy! Joshua has just been let in on God’s battle plan. He will be fighting with the Lord’s host (army) and His captain in command!! That means God’s army would be fighting beside Joshua.
Read Joshua 8:7; 10:14; and 10:42.
Do you believe God’s army is fighting with His children today?
How does God’s plan differ from man’s plan?

KNOW YOUR POWER
Joshua 5:14b-15 “And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, "What has my lord to say to his servant?" And the captain of the Lord's host said to Joshua, "Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so.”
The captain revealed to Joshua that God’s power was even in the ground where he was standing. It was that power that would bring victories to Joshua. It is a power that cannot be seen to fight the enemy.
Name some of the weapons He has given us to fight with?

KNOW THE VICTORY
Joshua11:15 “Just as the Lord had commanded Moses his servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did; he left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.”
To know victory, you must go through the battle. Joshua went through many, many battles. The Word says that Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua left nothing undone! The sweetest victory comes when you determine to fight all of the battles to the end!!

DEALING WITH MOUNTAINS

Mark 11:23
“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.”

Using the acronym R-E-M-O-V-E you can see how to remove the mountains in your life.

Recognize it needs to be moved! Sometimes we become used to the mountain that needs to be moved.

Expect it to move! Doubt robs us of our faith in what God can do. With faith the size of a mustard seed you can see mountains move.

Ministry Minded! Move it to accomplish God’s plan, not yours. How will moving the mountain help others in God’s plan for your life?

Open Minded! God is always doing things in a new way. You are a new creation and God wants you to be open to the new!

Visualize and Verbalize! Visualize the mountain, then listen to the Spirit of God about what to say. Mark 11:23 says speak to the mountain, so it’s time to take action.

Expect a Miracle! Be ready. The Spirit of God is going to move. So, get involved and EXPECT A MIRACLE!
