Today is hung upon the Cross, He Who suspended the Earth upon the waters. A crown of thorns crowns Him, Who is the King of Angels. He, Who wrapped the Heavens in clouds, is clothed with the purple of mockery. He, Who freed Adam in the Jordan, received buffetings. He was transfixed with nails, Who is the Bridegroom of the Church. He was pierced with a lance, Who is the Son of the Virgin. We worship Your Passion, O Christ. We worship Your Passion, O Christ. We worship Your Passion, O Christ. Show us also, Your glorious Resurrection.

Such a blessed day and with so many faithful. 🙏❤️

Great time today with the HOPE/JOY Kiddos for our monthly gathering!

We each made our own Mary gardens and will watch new life grow! Our next HOPE/JOY event will be in April, keep an eye out!

(Not so) Small Group tonight!

Thank you to the Paris & Fossey families for hosting us this month! We will take a break for April and will be back for our last meeting in May!

Already off to a great start of Lent, both groups spent time talking about detachment from the worldly things and attachment to things that we often neglect or spend less of our day thinking about. An example of this, seeing Christ in each person we encounter daily. Easily said, much more difficult to do! May God strengthen each of us and help us attach ourselves to Him more this Lenten season.

Thanks to the Arakas family for hosting both groups tonight, we had a great discussion on the theme of encouragement. Our responsibility as Christians is to be a Paraclete/παράκλητος- comforter, advocate or encourager to all who God calls us to encounter on our walk of faith. 🙏 May this entry into the Lenten journey be encouraging and our call to action! JANUARY SMALL GROUPS ✅ thank you to our gracious host families! We had two beautiful discussions with our middle and high school youth about the theme of this very well known Psalm of King David. May the Lord continue to show us that through the psalms and through Him we can always find mercy, peace, and love.
