Yesterday evening, we commemorated the institution of the Eucharist and the institution of the priesthood. The holy chrism, the oil of catechumens, and the oil of the sick new were received. The altar was stripped and the Eucharist was put in repose in the auditorium until midnight. 🙏

Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the Holy Land. Through
the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you stand in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land as a witness of peace, supporting
Catholics there in parishes and schools, maintaining Christian shrines and caring for refugees in the Holy Land. Please be generous!

Tomorrow is Holy Thursday.
Holy Thursday is the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when He established the sacrament of Holy Communion prior to His arrest and crucifixion. It also commemorates His institution of the priesthood.
We will have morning prayer at 8:00 am.
In the evening, we will celebrate the Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:00 pm and then will proceed to the School Auditorium for Adoration until midnight. Please join us.

03/27/2024

Immediately following the Tenebrae service, we will have Confessions. This will be the last opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation before Easter.

03/27/2024

Tonight at 6:00 pm, our Faith Formation students will present the Tenebrae service. What is a Tenebrae? Tenebrae, meaning shadows or darkness in Latin, is a Holy Week service that uses the simplicity of mostly darkness and some candlelight, along with psalms, prayers and music to reflect on the death of Jesus Christ. Please join us for this special presentation.
