Attendees heard from a panel of judges moderated by 2021 National President, Grace Weatherly. ABOTA aims to promote discussions about the importance of ensuring the judiciary’s fairness and impartiality to preserve our constitutional democracy.

Students participate in mock criminal trial at Corpus Christi Federal Courthouse Students with Flour Bluff ISD visited the Corpus Christi Federal Courthouse to get experience of the judicial system during a simulated mock trial.
President Steve Quattlebaum joined the Corpus Christi Chapter this morning at the trial of the Big Bad Wolf. Elementary school students participated in a mock trial as both lawyers and jurors. Congratulations to the Corpus Christi Chapter on a fantastic program!

President Steve Quattlebaum visited the Maryland Supreme Court yesterday to attend the posthumous bar admission for Edward Garrison Draper. ABOTA supported his admission to the Maryland State Bar, and we are proud to be a part of this rightful correction of a wrong done to Mr. Draper when he was denied admission to the bar in 1857.
