Reshaping the Uptown skyline…
A groundbreaking entertainment and dining destination is coming to the outskirts of central Tyler.
This dynamic development will feature a nature-focused design embracing the creek, completely walkable spaces activated with retail, restaurants, and entertainment, and proximity to popular sports fields, drawing visitors from across Texas. With ample parking on the perimeter for easy access and pedestrian-friendly zones, this 60-acre development will be a vibrant new heart for the Tyler community where families can gather, play, and create lasting memories together.
The design at Hilltop Plaza breathes new life into the heart of Snider Plaza with a lively mixed-use development. The primary focus of the project was to prioritize the pedestrian connection to the shopping center and adjacent residential neighborhood, while creating an open plaza to serve as the terminus for the development. Thoughtful building massing balances program height and low-rise elements to respect the neighboring residences, ensuring privacy and minimizing sound transmission.
OMNIPLAN’s design highlights inviting pedestrian connectivity and a carefully planned streetscape to enhance visitor safety. This dynamic space fosters a thriving community, seamlessly connecting all its uses.
These high temperatures in Dallas makes us dream of cooler days on this rooftop terrace.

Transforming the office experience at First United Bank. This project, in our very own building, was designed specifically to focus on future flexibility, increased meeting capacity, and maximizing space for collaboration and productivity. The design includes large meeting rooms, innovations spaces, and view corridors for employees and clients to experience a blend of functionality and aesthetics in corporate banking interiors.
Today we were able to celebrate the grand opening of The Quad, the neighborhood gathering place for the next generation of Uptown Dallas.
OMNIPLAN was able to transform this 1960’s historic site into a walkable mixed-use destination. Originally built in 1966 by Pratt Box Henderson, it was a pioneer for the urban neighborhood and quickly became a local landmark.
The new heart of the campus is a collection of five separate retail buildings, organized around a central plaza and green space. The scale of these buildings pays homage to the surrounding bungalows in the historic residential neighborhood. Each building’s design features a different material, creating a layered and textured aesthetic. They are planned to have a mix of alfresco dining, restaurants, and a coffee shop.
The development also includes the addition of a 12-story and 670,630 square foot office building with spectacular views of downtown at the upper levels. This state-of-the-art office building is complete with a fitness center, bike parking/maintenance and washing area. The 11th floor also has a lounge/conferencing area with a bar for hosting events.
With OMNIPLAN’s design for the latest redevelopment, The Quad brings back a meaningful connection to the new and existing buildings and provides a much-needed pedestrian experience while also becoming an intentional evolution and homage to the original.
The Willow, located at the edge of the desired Deep Ellum neighborhood, sits in a prime location near many local shops, breweries and restaurants. Adding to its appeal, the DART line runs right next to the building along the adjacent Santa Fe Trail. Residents are able to utilize this walking trail to connect to Fair Park, just three blocks away, enhancing this project’s unique appeal.

Designing for people starts with the people
To create a serene retreat for shoppers at this luxury retail destination, our team embraced the power of nature to offer patrons a unique shopping experience. The center’s biophilic design manifests in landscape and architectural elements to provide respite from the warm climate and simultaneously creates a strong identity for the shopping center.
In order to create a more meaningful connection with the Oak Lawn neighborhood, the masterplan for Park Cities Presbyterian Church aimed to improve connectivity across the urban campus, introduce new buildings, and enhance parking and outdoor areas in hopes of fostering a more inviting and usable environment. The new design provides an outdoor “town square” gathering space for community and church use.
This Office Tower study aims to redefine Class-A office buildings within a landmark Dallas district. The tower breaks away from 1980s office building norms with a bold design that re-establishes the area’s prestige. Positioned on a uniquely shaped site, the result is a dynamic silhouette, ensuring a 360-degree presence that demands attention. Our design approach combines functionality with a distinct identity, and strives to set a new standard for architectural excellence in Dallas’ bustling landscape.

Embracing the passage of time, The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum’s copper band continues to symbolize resilience, alluding to the idea of perseverance in weathering the storm.
The copper cladding, along with its acquired natural patina, was chosen to represent the strength of those who have stood up to injustice and inequality throughout history, forging a legacy of courage that inspires us today.

Out with the old, in with the new! In 2018, the iconic Purgatory nightclub building was re-envisioned by OMNIPLAN, making way for a fresh revitalization of where Deep Ellum and Downtown Dallas meet. This was just a piece of what would later transform the area, as East Quarter has grown to join Deep Ellum and the Farmers Market area, creating a seamless blend of work and play.

Recently, some of our team was able to tour one of our newest multifamily projects currently under construction in Dallas. In the heart of vibrant Deep Ellum, residents at 2800 Taylor will be walking distance to local shops, restaurants and bars. 2800 Taylor will be equipped with upscale amenities, including an oversized 2nd floor terrace featuring an infinity-edge style pool, grilling stations, and a fire pit lounge. It is so fulfilling to see new developments as such take root in our community.
We’re getting closer to revealing this fully completed project, and we can’t wait for this new development in Uptown to wrap up construction. Stay tuned for all updates!
We are so thrilled to show you our newest multifamily development in the heart of Deep Ellum. The Willow, located in one of the most historically significant neighborhoods in the city, reflects the unique charm of this area with its moody materials and rich textures.
