What was once just a bar with a kitchen soon became the first pizzeria in Dallas thanks to Papa Campisi and his cousin who brought up how “pizza pies” were so popular in New York, and suggested they serve them in Dallas too! Once the operation was moved to our Mockingbird Lane location in 1950, there was no stopping the success of Campisi’s pizza. 🍕
