3 Mistakes you may be making when toning the hair..

1. Processing Time - let it sit, if you have porous areas (like around the face) apply it to those areas last.

2. Formulas - tone at the same level the hair is lifted to. Level 9 toner doesn’t tone level 8 hair. Use a balanced formula and your color wheel.

3. Use the dedicated developer, not a higher developer than can lift the base.
