Our preschool field day event today was a huge success, as the children had a fantastic time engaging in several fun-filled activities. They exhibited great teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day, showcasing their ability to work together towards a common goal. We are particularly grateful to our parent volunteers for making this event memorable for the children. After an action packed morning we celebrated with delicious popsicles and beaming smiles.

Our visit to the Berkshire Farm Sanctuary was an incredible adventure that allowed us to connect with nature and learn about the importance of animal welfare. The children were fascinated by the pigs and goats, and they thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to feed the goats a treat. The experience was both entertaining and educational, and we left with a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the incredible animals that inhabit it.

As we approach the final few weeks of our school year, we want to make the most of every moment and create lasting memories for our incredible preschoolers who bring us so much delight, laughter, and inspiration. We concluded our lesson on community helpers with a visit to the Dalton Police Department. The children were given a guided tour of the facility, during which they met the dispatcher, explored the various rooms, and asked several questions. However, the highlight of their trip was meeting Wendell, the comfort dog.

The children's education on community helpers continued in a fun and interactive manner, allowing them to explore various aspects of the police profession, including fingerprinting, using the loudspeaker, and operating lights and sirens, while also enjoying a story about how police officers keep us safe. Their high levels of focus and engagement were evident throughout the activities.

Over the past week, our class has been learning about various community helpers, and today we took a field trip to the Dalton Fire Department to gain a deeper understanding of the role firefighters play in our community. The children were fascinated by the equipment and vehicles used by firefighters and even had the opportunity to sit in both the fire truck and ambulance.

Today, the kids embarked on an exciting journey to learn about solar eclipses and created their own unique hats to commemorate the experience!

This week, our focus has been on learning about dinosaurs. The snowfall from yesterday provided the perfect conditions for conducting a volcano experiment using snow🦕🦖🌋

The children enthusiastically invited their parents to join them in the classroom for a special breakfast, showcasing their impressive pouring and cutting skills. It was a joyful occasion that brought everyone together and left parents feeling so loved with beautiful flowers carefully chosen by their child💐
