The Rock at Centenary Methodist Church

Tonight we are starting a series called "Everyday." It is about ways that we can learn to connect with God everyday. We will be returning to our usual schedule of lesson, small groups, then a game tonight with a co****le tournament in the CLC. See you tonight at 6PM!

Tonight is the season 3 finale of The Chosen, and the last episode we will watch for a while. It is a great finale and I hope to see you tonight at 6!

Tonight at The Rock, we are on episode 7 from season 3. For those of you not out of town for the Fourth of July we hope to see you tonight at 6pm.

Tonight is our annual summer church picnic so we will not meet for The Rock, but I hope to see you there at the picnic. It is from 6 to 8 PM just like our usual time. and since the Freestyle Camp counselors will also be there I am looking forward to being able to play volleyball.

We will meet tonight to watch episode 6, from season 3 of The Chosen. See you tonight at 6 PM.

Happy Father’s Day everyone! Remember, we will not meet tonight since it is Father’s Day. I hope you enjoy the time with family!

Tonight we are on episode 5 of season 3 of The Chosen. The basketball goals are up, so will shoot some hoops until time to start and then again when we’re done if there is time. See you tonight at 6!

We are starting season 3 of “The Chosen” tonight. Looking forward to seeing everyone at The Rock tonight at 6PM.

We are on episode 7 of season 2 of Che chosen tonight and this is a really good one. I know you could probably say that about all of them, but I like this one. We are up in the Youth Room tonight. See you at 6 PM.

Tonight for Youth we will meet out at the pavilion/volleyball court! I know a lot of people are still out of town for Spring Break, so we won't watch The Chosen tonight. Instead we will play some volleyball and do a stand-alone study on how love lets people know they matter. See you tonight at 6PM at the pavilion.

Happy Easter everyone! Remember we’re not meeting tonight and there won’t be any programming on Wednesday night since it is spring break for most of you. I hope you all enjoy the time with your family.

Tonight, in episode 4 of The Chosen, we learn more about Jewish religious culture and are introduced to the Zealots. See you tonight at 6!

Jesus knows us at our lowest moments. That will be the focus of tonight‘s episode of The Chosen tonight at youth group. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Our Youth Super Bowl Party is this Sunday, from 6:00 until the game is over! We will have a taco bar and pasta, sodas and water, and you are welcome to bring a dish to share! Come root for the 49ers or the Swifties…I mean the Chiefs!

Winter Jam 2024 was awesome! New song, Cain and Crowder were definitely the highlights!

Reminder: There is no Rock tonight since some of us are going to Winter jam at Rupp Arena. See everyone next week at the Super Bowl party.

Since we didn’t get to go to Resurrection, we will be meeting tonight and will go ahead and eat the brisket and have dinner at 6 o’clock. See you tonight!

Bringing in the New Year at Centenary with food and games all night long!

Our New Year’s Eve lock-in is tonight from 8PM-8AM New Year’s Day! We will be providing pizza around 11 and watching the ball drop at midnight. We will also have breakfast in the morning about 6:30 and of course there will be snacks out all night long. So, bring a sleeping bag and PJs, if you actually plan to sleep. Otherwise bring your running shoes for a night of grog and other games!

We had a great turnout, and a great time at our Rock Christmas party! Food, games, and a white elephant gift exchange, then straight to Grog! I hope everyone has a very merry and blessed Christmas. Our next event will be our New Year’s Eve lock-in to bring in the new year. It will be from 8PM on New Year’s Eve until 8AM on New Year’s Day.

Our Rock Christmas party is tonight from 6 to 8PM. We will have pizza at 6 o’clock. Please bring us dessert to share if you would like. Everyone who comes needs to bring a wrapped gift for the gift exchange.
