Welcome to the family Ms. Cherry!

We are excited to announce that Ms. Tracy Cherry will be the interim principal at Schlarman Academy for the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Cherry retired in 2023 from Danville District 118 where she served as an administrator for 20 years, including as principal of Garfield Elementary School, Kenneth D. Bailey Academy and most recently, Danville High School. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Danville Area Community College. Ms. Cherry brings with her a strong Christian faith and a true respect for the Catholic Church.

DTC is having an Open House today from 10am - 12pm on the new outdoor courts. There will be free tennis and pickleball drills as well as hot dogs, chips, and drinks. It's open to the public so both members and non-members are welcome to come.

Come and See the Updated DANVILLE TENNIS CENTER; with Sat June 29th Open House, 10 AM – 12 Noon Danville Tennis Center Board of Directors president Laurie Sermersheim says come on out Saturday for a morning of tennis, and pickleball.

Get your friends together for a fun night at Danville Stadium.
The Dans take on the CornBelters at 6:30 pm, and the Dans Band with First Gig Rock n Roll will play between innings during the game. Tickets are just $3, with $3 specials in concessions and $2 Busch Lights. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

The Annual Schlarman Academy Rummage Sale is Thursday, June 13, Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the South Campus Location (1307 N. Walnut Street, Danville, IL).

Times for the rummage sale are as follows:
Thursday, June 13 - 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (bring a canned good item for the food pantry).
Friday, June 14 - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 15 - 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

Come and take a look around and take home some "new to you" goodies. Thank you in advance for your support!

She was selected to the Extra Innings Softball 2027 class All-Area third team. Out of the Midwest region which consist of 9 states, only 171 players total were selected for the first, second, and third teams! We’re proud of you, Irene!
