Ok, so we’ve got some limited edition Oreo’s, we are also introducing the throw back item that everyone got a kick out of…we’ll be unveiling it at the Washington Township Ice-cream social. There will be a few that might make their way onto the stage over the next month or two….if your on the schedule (or if your my grandkids…they always get the fun stuff first..).

Events Washington Township will host the annual Cruise-In to the Ice Cream Social at the Washington Township RecPlex on Sunday August 11 from 11a to 3p.

The vanity location is really the only thing that didn’t change. An old soaker/jetted tub was replaced with a large walk in shower. U by Mowen was installed with multiple devices. The old shower in the toilet closet was converted to a large closet. New cabinets, tops, and flooring as well.

A kitchen rework with a functional laundry closet.

This bathroom was basically a conversion from a standard bathroom (which wasn’t really functional for the family using it) to a much more functional bathroom. Expanded shower, reworked toilet and sink, moved a wall a little to make more room. Fun little project.

Open spacious bathroom, simple,clean and functional. You might notice there’s no threshold to step over. Makes life easier…whether “aging-in-place”or living the young life, and not wanting another thing to clean around.

Two bathrooms “back to back”…literally

Duel level bathroom. Sink/vanity area and a sitting area on the lower/main level. Shower, storage, and toilet on the upper. LVT flooring, tile shower, moen fixtures, new cabinets and quartz tops.

Simple quick bathroom make over.

We’re back from KBIS (Kitchen &Bath Industry Show). It’s always an interesting show, trends, colors, &new products. Last time I was there was 2020. Most of 2020 was tech or design advancement, this years seems to be (probably due to the pandemic) re-design of tech (home-automation) or line developments that were introduced in 2020.

Kohler seems to have caught up with the Moen U, although Kohler is gonna need to work on the size of their valve. It’s massive, probably 2x the size of Moens. Moen has developed and is expanding their home networks. I wouldn’t be surprised if their eventual goal is to have all valves and products Wi-Fi enabled in the next 5 years.

Another big trend is redesigning the look of stoves, more curves, bigger (36”/48” are being pushed as new “standard, stock sizes”.

“Murphy” beds and hidden doors; while always a functional option seem to now be a more affordable and versatile option.

Digital imaging (I think) has finally hit its stride and functionality. In that, aside from imaging on smooth surfaces and basic items we are now “all in” for this application in the bathroom. An example is the shower base that looks like hard wood floor.

Getting Fancy for a couple guys…

Kitchen remodel…We took out the dropped ceiling, two walls, which open it up nicely. We also took the original window out and put a larger one in (cutting brick out to do so and moving the window sill down. Waypoint cabinets, Tile from Florida Tile, granite tops with a stainless steel sink and Moen faucet, new ceiling lighting as well.

Another bathroom. Some things you can’t see: a new pocket door to enter the bathroom, new Waypoint vanities with open shelving by the toilet, and a large recessed medicine cabinet. This was a total gut and build back. The tub/shower unit is a “Best Bath” unit. They are extremely well constructed, quick ship times (even through the pandemic). There’s also a custom many shelving niche.

This was a full bath remodel. There originally was a wall dividing the shower/toilet closet from the vanity area. Obviously that was removed to open things up. Granite for the top, Waypoint cabinets, new tile, Moen Eva fixtures all around and a new toilet.

Another small-ish bathroom. This was a gut, and replace. Soaker tub, tile floor and walls, grab bars. A new vanity and top with Moen fixtures through out. This customer choose to have us install an LED lighted mirror with a light bar above.

Just a simple shower (42x66 roughly) with a barn style shower door

This was a major kitchen remodel. Walls were taken down, to allow for a bigger pantry cabinet area. New tile floor, cabinets, custom butcher block countertop on the island, quartz tops, tile splash, under cabinet lighting…the countertop for the island is African Mahogany, and finished for food preparation.

OSU fans should be loving this one. Basically the customer said she wanted red tile, which would be A LOT of red. I noticed she had Ohio State decor and asked if she was a fan. She was/is, said that her and her husband use to go to the games all the time when they were young. I suggested an Ohio State theme, adding some grey to the mix. I later found the Ohio state accent tile to include. When it was done she did say “that’s a lot of red, but I like it”.
