In our current project house we have 5 slate mantles ! I thought it might be helpful to post a series of pictures showing the disassembly process. To reassemble its a matter of hooks , wires ,nails and some plaster of Paris.
This one was missing its shield so I added one from another mantle. It's on display at Antiques village priced at $ 425.00

We bought the salvage rights to a 1880s house with all this and much more! If you are interested in anything pictured, let us know and we will shoot you a price. We will start stocking it in tomorrow!

The barn is finished and all in stock ! Lots of metal roofing and a few 3' to 5' 8x8s left , some siding too !
Also not pictured , I put 2 , 54" oak church pews on the floor, 249.00 each !

We now have all the barn siding in store , and 3 different styles of metal roofing! Timber beams on Monday!!

The first group is 2 beautiful slate mantles. Too fragile to bring to av. 1 is near perfect ,5' long and priced at $500.00 . The 2nd one has a few chips and a slight crack in one of the columns , priced at $450.00 .
This cast iron double splash board sink is a rare find indeed! A great piece, it would need refinishing for kitchen use, priced at $295.00.
This sandstone is just so nice! For building, landscaping or garden projects. Watertables are $ 10.00 per foot , steps are $150.00 each
A once in a blue moon 12 gallon crock , with a bit of a crack , make me an offer !

This fabulous bronze door unit is one of six the Dayton Art Institute is currently replacing.
We have the first set on display at Antiques village!
The door jambs are also bronze and included, they will need some work to reinstall . This unit is priced at $ 850.00 !

We nearly finished the salvage of 20 Dayton houses ! Loads of doors, trims , columns and hardware, stop out, see what's new !!

Two more loads of doors and trims this week, and a few items I've thinned out from my collection!

We've finished our latest job in Ft. Laramie and have most of it out in the store. Stop by ,see what's new !

It's been a long time since we brought in Victorian cottage trim! We scored 7 rooms of various styles (sorry no baseboards) window and door trim.we also brought in a few doors too. We stocked it yesterday, so stop out, have a look around!!

We have many new items since our last post! We have 2 more church pews 43" @ $199.00 and 1 at 53" @ $ 235.00.
We don't usually do vintage bicycles however, these are worth a look! A70s Era huffy ,I'm told one of the last models made in Dayton, Ohio. $68.00 .The Sears bike is Austrian with German and Italian parts as well.$ 78.00. Both made in a time that makes them classics!

Today, Dayton R&R along with Bladecutters assist, we managed to save five of these fabulous stone columns! Only a few minor chips for added character they are in great condition. They are still on the truck , if you have an interest, send me a message!
